We had a lovely meal at the High Corner Inn today also very friendly. I have one comment though, the road down to the Inn is closed at the moment for maintenance and it is not at all clear how one gets there. We along with other cars we were confused as there was no signs to tell us which way to get there. We had booked a table, at no point were we told that the road was closed. Eventually we were told about a back way to the Inn but this road was poorly signed, at one point we ended up in the drive of a private dwelling.

Excellent. Lovely Sunday lunch. Service was good,.desserts took a little longer than hoped but enjoyed our visit. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Lovely little.plqyground for the children which my son loved. Wonderful location in New Forest. Would love to come back for Christmas and stay in the main pub near the fire.

Another great stay with our dogs at this gem in the heart of the new forest Friendly staff help to make this a great stay The location of this place is perfect for walking and visiting local pubs The rooms are comfortable with direct access to the restaurant, bar and a beer garden

We had an excellent lunch last Wednesday. It really is a lovely place, in a beautiful setting. There are plenty of small areas for eating, which all have a cosy and intimate feel, compared to the large dining area in the conservatory type room. Food and service were both excellent and the Wednesday discount off food, makes a huge difference. We have tried several of the Butcombe pubs, but this is certainly our favourite.

Just returned from a delightful stay at this pub near the forest. The food was top-notch, the rooms were cosy, and the animals added a lovely touch. Highly recommend. Great for family/friends or even just sneaking away alone. Truly delightful.

Came here last week and it was an excellent evening. There is a wide range of food on the menue for a reasonable price! To top off the evening the service was quick and efficient. Caitlin and Robyn made sure we were looked after the entire evening.

An absolutely pleasant retreat from the busy city life. A very spacious indoors and accomadating outside area. They even have rooms which I certainly will wish to try next. The food brings me back home and the staff are truly the gem of it all.

Paying over £9 for Egg Sandwich and well over £10 each for two club sandwiches on Foccacia raised an eyebrow yesterday but when the paltry serving arrived I must say I felt really ripped off. The bread was extremely doughy and fillings the bare minimum with no garnish whatsoever. I will never return.
