The menu at Tyrell’s Ford is always full Of incredible dishes; the choice is wide and the food is always fantastic; fresh, home-cooked and so good. Choice of reql ales is always excellent and the staff and proprietors are always so welcoming. Love this place, we cost whenever we are in the area…and will Keep coming back!

Stayed here for two nights recently, the place needs a complete overhaul and updating, windows in bedrooms filthy, bathroom taps dripping, shower over bath almost non functional, curtains do not fit . Absolutely depressing state and needs investment inside and out ! Would I stay here again? …Definitely not!

Such great food snd very reasonable. Great service too. Lovely warm bar. One of my friends had the vegetable curry and said it was the best he'd ever tasted. All our meals were good. And beautifully presented. We'll be back! Hadn't visited for about 3 years.

Our food was absolutely appalling. Couldn't eat it. And despite bringing it to the Managers attention, we barely got a 'sorry'. Terrible customer service. Definitely won't be returning. Very disappointed.

The photos online of this place are about 20 years’ old. Desperately needs some attention. Good, quiet location, however the inside (and outside) desperately need some investment. Can’t comment on the restaurant as we didn’t eat in there (other than breakfast)

We had been on a tour of the nearby Manor House and it was after midday so we repaired here for a drink and a snack. Nice substantial sandwiches with plenty of filling, crisps and salad. They also serve meals and these have always been good when taken here. Pleasant staff and gardens too where you can sit.

This delightful country mansion is full of old world charm, inside and out. The grounds are magnificent and the atmosphere and ambiance very relaxing. The restaurant serves varied and well cooked dishes and the bar area is like a pub which offers a very enjoyable and unique experience. It’s a place to go to again and again.

I have just got back from a five night stay at Tyrrells Ford and yet again it was wonderful, the owners Mark and Sarah make you feel like one of the family, the food is excellent with ample portions, the beer is great, all in all an excellent stay!

Nice hotel. Bit outdated but that adds to the charm. My only issue was breakfast wasn’t served until 8am and I needed to be in the office by 8. So missed out on that. I’m sure if I’d had asked at check in they would have accommodated me I just didn’t think to ask.
