French Quarter Mansion

I want to be sure I convey every aspect of this property as accurately as I possibly can. No doubt, this property is beautiful. It was clean and quaint. If you are wanting to be located in the busiest part of Bourbon St as possible, this is the place for you. It truly is busy with nightlife and music, sirens, and the loudest, most non courteous tenants, NONSTOP. If you aren’t looking for a descent nights sleep, this place is a no brainer. 1, 2, 3 AM, makes no difference, you will be serenaded by drunken men and women who have no sense of the “quiet hours”. Also, you may want to bring your own towels and washcloths. The stairs you have to use (5 stories with no elevator) are a disaster waiting to happen. They are very awkward and uneven. The wooden floors are pretty, but broken We were provided with a total of 4 washcloths for 5 people, for a 2 night stay. The room is very small, but very pretty. The bathroom….. LOOKS nice. The toilet was broken, so bad that the toilet seat was barely attached to the toilet with the flush handle dangling out from the tank. Also, 5 minutes maximum is what you will have as far as hot water for a shower. From the 1st shower to the last shower, that didn’t matter, 5 minutes is the longest amount of time that the hot water lasted. We requested more toiletries and were told that they would be provided. They were not. We reported the toilet seat and handle being messed up and were met with a very rude and disrespectful reply, that we were going to be reported for the damage. I can assure you that the toilet was this way before our stay. So, all in all….. this place LOOKS nice, but is not a place I would ever recommend for anyone to stay.

This was a beautiful space in a great location with a great price. We did find a dead cockroach on our last day, however it’s understandable being the age of the building…

Loved this place! So clean and beds were ridiculously comfortable! We had our shower door came loose and let the management know. Within 30 min we had someone come out and fix it. This is weird but the pillows smelled so good because you can tell they wash and clean all the sheets after every guest.

Love the New Orleans charm just wish it had an elevator. Everything was amazing. Communication was great.

Good location a block from bourbon st. Food places every where. Unfortunately not close to parking garage.

Excellent location and charm. Items noted in previous reviews still remain. Very uncomfortable bed, and the whole suite could use some love and a deep clean. A few furniture pieces were different than the photos (purple velvet settee/sleeper is a now a generic uncomfortable futon). Overall great stay, but not quite 5 stars based on items noted. The courtyard area right outside our door was beautiful!
