We have been staying at Quest whenever we find one in the town or city we're travelling to. Quest never disappoints and this time was certainly not an exception.  The place is very well located, right in the heart of town. just across the street from NP shopping centre, The museum, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and even the big box retail stores and supermarkets.  We booked one-bedroom apartment for a 6-night stay. The apartment is spacious with many amenities in the kitchenet to prepare and cook food, A washer and dryer pair in the bathroom; in fact, the only not-so up to standards is the limited TV channels although the range and diversity of films offered kind of make up for it.   We would certainly be returning when in NP again.

Stayed here for 3 nights, and found the location perfect.  Handy to gym, restaurants and shopping.  The room is a good size, but lacks personality - it's functional at best.  Room service neglected to refill amenities which was frustrating (no tea / coffee / shampoo!) and on arrival, our rubbish bin had not been emptied from the previous guests.  Despite requesting a carpark and receiving an email confirmation one had been added to the booking, we experienced the first in first served lottery to get a park - which is really frustrating late at night and in the rain.  The staff were lovely and welcoming and the hotel clean - but it did feel tired and in need of a refresh.

Checking in after hours was easy. After arriving 5 hours late due to Air NZ cancelled flight. It was a short walk out to the good home restaurant which was open late for us.  Bed and sheets were very soft and comfortable. Very clean.  Will return again. A light breakfast was pre-booked and was fine for me.
