The hotel is located quite far away actually and it is 15-20 mins walk to the old street. Our room has nice view over the dam and the river. There are some bugs in the onsen area of the room tho...

Great stay!

This is our second time visiting this hotel. The room was aged, with poor sound insulation. Sound from drainage pipe was frequently heard. Hot spring was good but crowded due to the coldest weather. It is good to come in Spring / autumn. But differently not in Winter.

The location is excellent, Nice view of the river and the opposite plantation. The breakfast is excellent. The room is big and clean. The onsen is magnificent!

Room has nice view. Good service. Gpod if you want a break from city life.

The hotel check-in is at 5:00pm (you can take an early flight and explore Taipei for a while, then take the MRT to Xindian Station and transfer to a taxi). The price of taxis to Wulai is regulated by the New Taipei City Government! The price is clear at a glance, it’s great!  The Atayal-style hotel has a unique style and is a cost-effective hotel. The front desk staff introduced the facilities of the room in detail, and also helped to carry luggage to the room (because there is no luggage in this hotel). The deluxe hot spring suite we stayed in this time is on the second floor, which is the highest floor. The floor is very high, and the space feels large and clean. There are cold soup and hot soup in the room, and there are also large glass windows to see the mountain view, but due to the water vapor, the mountain view is also hazy.  Dazhong Hot Spring is relatively ordinary. It is a separate bath for men and women. You can't see the mountain view on the opposite side when bathing in the bath. However, there is a rest area where you can enjoy the mountain and river views. (Because I have lived in the Pushi Lizhi next door, I enjoyed bathing in the hot springs and looking at the mountain views across the way. It was very relaxing.) The lady at the front desk was very hospitable. Knowing that we were staying for 3 days and 2 nights, she told us that we had a choice of breakfast, including xiaolongbao on the second day. (However, the standard of breakfast is very good. There is also hot and cold coffee or tea for self-service. You can eat breakfast on the terrace and enjoy the mountain and river views.) In addition, when the helper called a taxi to the entrance of Neidong Forest, he also reminded us that the city government is stipulated price. She's so sweet too. There is a 7-11 in front of the hotel. Late night snack must be cup noodles from Taiwan... Although the hotel does not provide dinner. (I checked online and it was there. The staff said it was only there before the epidemic. It is no longer available now. I hope they will update the website.)  The solution for dinner is 1. Walk about 15 minutes to Wulai Old Street. Some restaurants charge around 10 o'clock. 2. Or take 849 to the entrance of the tunnel (Agai Auntie Food) for dinner (recommended by the owner of Wulai Old Street Coffee Shop😊), it’s really good👍🏻

The hot spring is very good, but there is no elevator, but the staff will help with the suitcases. The breakfast is delicious. It is not suitable for people with mobility problems. The breakfast area has a beautiful view.

Very comfortable. Right next to Nanshi Creek. You can see the stream flowing when you look down. The room is large and the air conditioning can be adjusted at will. Tatami style with back-view bed. The public pool is clean and equipped with a hair dryer. Breakfast can also include porridge and bread. I noted that it was to celebrate the anniversary and I was given a bottle of wine. Thank you. I like it very much. I will come again next time.

The waiters are friendly and take the initiative to help carry luggage upstairs. They respond to needs or inquiries quickly and are on hand. You can soak in outdoor hot springs for free, and the hot spring facilities in the room are also very good. Breakfast was rich and delicious.

We went by bus from Taipei. We checked in late at the hotel, so we went to see the old street and took the mini train. It takes about 20 minutes from the old street to the hotel. If you pay 100 won for a taxi, take a taxi. We walked and it was too hard. The hotel was really nice. After washing in the hot spring water, my skin was really soft. The public bath was also nice~
