Very friendly hostel owner.
He is a superhero! I lost my wallet in the bus and he got it back for me!
The communal space really feels like a living room.
The atmosphere with everyone is very good.

Very very close to the main streetl and the hostel owner is very friendly.
Seems toilets is a bit not enough when there are many traveller check-in.

Has the basics that every backpacker need.
would be nice if the hot water from the water dispenser was hotter than 70°c, but that's not a deal breaker :)

Very nice staff, they let me keep my bike inside because I was bike touring and they also informed and guided me because of the typhoon. My bed and shower were very clean, I recommend it.

Excellent stay with perfect location for Old st. Massive thanks to the friendly volunteers for the helpful information, as well as to the helpful owner who was accommodating. Good place to socialise with other travellers. Shower was the most perfect one I’ve used in Taiwan - minor thing to notice but was appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

Very nice hostel, the owner was really friendly.
It's in the middle of the old street, so very convenient but if you have a big suitcase, not the best haha.
The room is actually quite spacious and it's apparently not often full.

The bosses is very friendly and put in an effort to kept the place clean. I had a good time talking to the boss when I stayed indoors most of the time due to rainy season.

I stayed in a dormitory room. It is located in the middle of Jiufen Old Street, so it is convenient for sightseeing in Jiufen. The number of tourists in Jiufen town decreases after 8pm, so if you want to relax and enjoy sightseeing, it is recommended to stay overnight so that you don't have to rely on the time of your return. The locker key was broken and I couldn't use it, so I was careful about managing my valuables. If there were other lockers available, I might have been able to use them, but I didn't declare it because it was a hassle.
