I’m very disappointed in this place. Firstly, unless you book a female only dorm, you’re on the 4th floor and there’s no elevator. The rooms are not totally separated as the wall doesn’t go all the way up so you heard a lot of noise. The doors are very noisy opening and closing and the noise from the outside is just about bearable. The noise from the showers is terrible as you can hear when someone is in the shower when you’re in your room.
The showers are terrible. Out of my 3 night stay, I only had 1 decent shower because the first day there was very little pressure and the hot water ran out really quickly. On the second day there was no water when I tried to shower both in the morning and evening and when I reported it to the reception I was told “I just got back from vacation so I don’t know what to do”, yeah but you’re back now so maybe your job? The next morning there was water pressure and I could have a decent shower, although after around 5 minutes or so the hot water started going but I’d finished showering by then.
The basins in the bathroom stink.
The beds are quite comfortable though but I would’ve rather paid a little extra for the bigger room because it is tiny. Just about have enough space to move around and get dressed.
Needless to say I will not be staying here again as I’m very disappointed and would rather pay half the price for a decent hostel than this hybrid rubbish.

The location is very decent for Manhattan, especially for the price. However, the room is only about 3 square meters, like a booth in a Japanese manga cafe with a locked door and a proper bed.

Room was comfortable. Bathrooms clean. No amenities. Compared to other hostels, this was a nice experience to have a private bedroom. I paid extra for a larger room. Standard rooms are the size of the bed and nightstand. Do not stay here with large bags, there is not an elevator and you will need to lug your bags up to 5 levels.

Location: The location is great, and it's lovely to stroll around the SoHo and NoHo areas. I much preferred the vibe here compared to the place I stayed at in Times Square later on.
Cleanliness: I was surprised that someone cleaned the room every day, and the bed was always neatly made when I returned. Although the space was small, it smelled nice and was quite tidy, not dirty at all.
Environment: The environment was also very good, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in, making me feel secure. The wash area, bathroom, and toilet were all clean. Everything had a pleasant scent.
Overall: As long as you don't have very high demands for sleep quality and space, this place is quite a bargain. If you have a small suitcase and can accept sleeping only 5-6 hours a night due to being a light sleeper, I highly recommend it! The hotel I stayed at in Times Square afterward was nearly triple the price, but the experience wasn't three times better than here.
Minor drawbacks:
1. Regarding noise: It was a bit noisy, but not excessively so, as everyone was very considerate. Perhaps due to the lack of a ceiling, I could clearly hear other guests going to the toilet or getting a drink. Being a light sleeper, I basically woke up at 6 AM every day and couldn't fall back asleep. Also, I had to be very careful in the room myself, as I was afraid any sound might disturb others.
2. Regarding hot water: I took three showers in total. One in the afternoon was almost cold water; one at dusk was lukewarm; and one in the evening started lukewarm but then turned hot. So, if you plan to shower, I recommend doing so in the evening. Of course, the water pressure was very low.
PS: You can get free drinking water from the pantry on the ground floor.

I had really good sleep during my stay. The room was very cozy. Toiletries (towel, body wash, shampoo) were provided. The shower room was very clean and the body wash and shampoo smell amazing. Check in and out were quick and straight forward. I also really like how aesthetic the whole place is. Would definitely recommend for solo travellers.

Enjoyed my 3 night stay at Now Now NoHo. Recommend to stay the 5m² room. Just nice.
Thankful the hotel provided staff to help bring heavy luggage to the upstairs. It is not noisy at all. Location quite good.
I didnt know the hotel provided free slippers as I didnt see my mine throughout the whole journey.
The female side of bathroom needs to be cleaned more.
