Too dirty very very old Ac Wasn’t working very rude stuffs many many people complain about AC But they didn’t care also don’t want to refund

The location is great! But the amenities sucks! Be very vigilant about your credit card monitor always your emails and msgs from the bank! My cc was used unauthorized by this establishment not just once but twice!

Very good location. The hotel is old, but it’s clean and nice. Any chance visiting NY, I will choose this hotel again

The hotel's breakfast is a piece of bread, a fruit, and a drink for each person, all handed out in a queue. For the first time, I feel like a refugee. This is New York, and it's simply speechless. The room doesn't even have a microwave. If you want to heat something, you have to make a reservation, and then a staff member arrives twenty minutes later carrying a microwave. Even third-world countries aren't this shabby.

The hotel is in an excellent location. It’s very easy to get around by walking or hopping on the metro. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful, but the hotel itself is in need of renovations (as other reviews have stated). If the hotel were to make those renovations I would stay again.

Raquel the receptionist was very nice and let me upgrade to a lovely room for free.

The hotel offers the most affordable prices and I’m in a great location surrounded by Times Square, great food, shoes, sightseeing spots, etc. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect if you are visiting NYC downtown. But the service is below average.

The location is accessible to Tines Square. There is a subway nearby where you can easily go to the places you can visit the New York City. It is not difficult to find restaurants where you can enjoy the foods. However, It is quite disappointing about the cleanliness in the room.

Honestly, it’s cheap for time square, room is spacious compared to most. Out dated furniture and dingy colors. 1980s design. Should be updated! The breakfast was a load of poop….don’t buy the breakfast!

awesome! we had a great stay with my family.

My wife has stage IV gallbladder cancer and is a routine patient at MSK. For this trip we had family joining us and decided to stay at MTS. We had stayed there in the past and had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, for this stay we had a number of inconveniences that made our stay not so pleasant. The elevators were out of service with exception to one, the elevator issue was a big problem and in some ways even a fire and code violation issue. My wife had to stay in the room all day Wednesday because of the planned outage of power to the elevators to get some of them running again. We did not want her stranded on the ground floor when needing to get back to room for rest. I had requested rooms away from the elevators. One room was right by the elevators. We switched rooms with family members to be in room further down hallway so my wife could get decent rest. We also requested rooms adjacent to each but that did not happen. One room had no hand towels for two days even after requesting them. There is no phone in room. There was no soap or shampoo in either room. When my wife and I got into our room following dinner Tuesday night the thermostat and HVAC unit was not functioning. The phone was not working either. I got the phone working but was unsuccessful at reaching the front desk between 11-11:30. I took elevator down and spoke with a front desk attendant and requested maintenance to check our equipment. He came by around 12am and did something with the furnace and had to replace the batteries in the thermostat. Our toilet was constantly running. The ice and water machines did not work on either the 20th or 21st floors and had to go to 22nd floor. There was a prior occupants name label stuck on our wall dated 11/9 which made us wonder about the thoroughness of cleaning. Especially with my wife’s compromised immune system. When I went to the front desk the morning of checkout I recognized multiple guests only being charged the prior nights stay (Thursday) due to the elevator and other inconveniences. I was told I could not get a refund because I had done my booking via third party (Trip.com). I have reached out to the hotel manager multiple times over the last 9 days with no luck in contacting him. I would not recommend staying at the Manhattan at Times Square.

Awesome location and breathtaking view! However, the hotel's a bit dated—old carpets, needs a paint job, and furniture could use a refresh. If you snag a sweet deal, it's worth considering. Otherwise, better options are out there. The location, though, is truly fantastic.
