The location of the Holiday Inn is excellent. It's situated between Sixth and Seventh Avenue, making it easy to walk to the subway station and Times Square. The hotel rooms are not large but they are clean and tidy, and they come with a safe and a hairdryer. Breakfast is free and includes fruits and juices, as well as bagels, cupcakes, and nut bars. If you're in a hurry, you can also take it to go. The most unforgettable person for me was Ms. Nadine. She helped me get back the passports for me and my family. I forgot to take the passports out of the safe when I checked out, and I only remembered when I was about to leave New York after spending the whole day out. I rushed back to the hotel and, in my panic, I told her the wrong room number. Ms. Nadine was very patient and compassionate; she let me go up with her to check. At that moment I found out I had given her the wrong room number. I am truly very grateful to her. I will stay in the Holiday Inn again.

The management of this particular Holiday Inn could do much better in providing amenities such as a CLOCK. The hotel is poorly designed and in disrepair. The counter space in my bathroom was practically non-existent. The placement of the desk and chair directly underneath the television is illogical. Although the Holiday Inn is now owned and operated by IHG, that's no excuse to denigrate the reputation of this once great hotel chain. I will be traveling to Amarillo, Texas later on this month and staying at another Holiday Inn. I dare say, that the look and feel of the facility will be a 180 degree turn from the one in Chelsea. Pretty shameful

Our stay was accommodating. Fantastic location. The bedding was super comfortable, but the beds were small. Says it sleeps 4, but should have been 2. The bathroom was tiny too. The lobby restaurant was under construction. They had fruit, bagels and muffins in the lobby. We paid over $330 per night. I know it’s NYC, but wow.

Absolutely loved the city view of this room. The room was quite spacious and clean, great service, and free bag check after checkout. Will definitely be coming back.

Best place to stay. Fast check in. Amazing staff. Good services near the hotel. Rooms are big. Amenities as shampoo Dove. I am really recommend this hotel. I will be returning again as a soon as possible.

Check in staff were nice and accommodating. The room was quite large for Manhattan. There was a dark stain on the bed sheet, some mold in the bathroom and the extractor fan was very dusty. But overall not bad value for money.

The location of the hotel was great. The hotel feels old and outdated tho, there is a renovation going on which is a bit annoying since they take one of the two extremely slow elevators. When I was checking in it was a bit troublesome since they requested a credit card for deposit, I do not use credit card and since they are a "cashless" hotel, the check in took longer because they needed to contact the manager to convince her to accept some cash as a deposit. It was very annoying since I was tired and all i wanted was my room. Other than that, the hotel was ok.

Upon our arrival at the hotel, we inquired about parking our car and were directed to a nearby lot that the hotel had an agreement with. However, upon arrival, we were hurriedly asked to remove our belongings, resulting in us bringing unnecessary items to the hotel. It would have been helpful if the hotel staff had informed us that we could unpack our things near the hotel entrance at a more relaxed pace. Furthermore, we experienced an issue with our shower upon returning to our room in the evening - there was no cold water. We contacted the reception and a technician was sent to fix the problem. However, after tinkering with the water for a while, the technician informed us that the issue had been known for a few days, as the contractor had "crossed the pipes," and that we would be moved to a new room the next day. It would have been more appropriate for the hotel staff to have informed us of this issue at check-in and avoided the inconvenience of sending a technician who was unable to fix the problem. This could have been especially dangerous if one of our children had attempted to take a shower with only boiling water. While the manager was accommodating and we received compensation, such as half a night's stay and a complimentary breakfast, informing us about these issues beforehand would have been a better solution.

We stayed on the 25th floor. The bathtub had rust around the spout and there was very little water pressure so the flow of water out of the shower went from a trickle to nothing at all. The water temp was also inconsistent, it went from very hot to very cold. The hallway had stains in the carpet and doesn't look like it had been cleaned in weeks.
