It's a good price-performance hotel. I like it very much. The location is convenient, fast, safe, and the experience is very good. The service staff is very nice. In short, it's a hotel that I would like to come back to live in again

Kamer was netjes en werd elke dag schoongemaakt en aangevuld. Bedden waren prima. Niet heel breed. Redelijk genoeg ruimte voor NY begrippen. Alleen niet genoeg ruimte voor iedereen zijn kleding. Maar de kids leefden voornamelijk uit hun koffer. Helaas geen klein koelkastje. Douche was prima. Alleen de handdouche hing er een beetje zielig bij en de kop had ook wel wat onderhoud nodig. En het licht van de badkamer deed ook raar. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het restaurant. Wel van de bar en personeel was heel vriendelijk en wijn lekker. Ook fijn dat je elke dag flesjes water kon krijgen. Al met al hebben we een fijne ervaring gehad. Ondanks dat we niet veel in het hotel waren. 😊

I made a quick side trip to New York after a business trip and stayed at the Renaissance in Chelsea. The hotel was beautiful and the room was lovely. It felt very chic and luxurious. My husband has yet to visit New York but if I’m able to get him here I would choose to stay at this hotel again. I would say that it’s geared more towards couples and adults, though there was the occasional child. The location is nice because it’s away from the chaos of Times Square with many nice shops and restaurants to explore. I enjoyed the restaurant my first night and the mushroom risotto was delicious! The staff was fantastic and everyone was welcoming, kind, and helpful. Especially Alejandro, whose customer service was exceptional. If you’re trying to decide on a place to stay, you should definitely give The Renaissance a try.

Very nice hotel with a great staff! The rooms were very nice and cleans. Housekeeping came daily and left the room spotless. The front desk staff were also very helpful with the check in process and answering any questions. Alejandro was a great help throughout our entire stay. He gave great recommendations for places near by and answered all of our questions! He was amazing! Definitely a great stay!

My 2nd time at this hotel and I would not stay anywhere else in Manhattan! Facilities and services available are fantastic. Location is perfect, easy to walk to key landmarks like the Empire State building and Times Square. Staff are attentive and welcoming. Stefan, Alejandro,Phoenix and Jason in particular went above and beyond to help during our stay!

We decided for Renaissance NY Chelsea hotel for our family stay in NY for one week. We couldn’t make a better choice. The position is just central so you can reach many places including Chelsea Market, High line or 5th Avenue just by walking. The 23rd station is just one or two blocks away so you can easily travel by subway or by taxi between 10-20 USD everywhere from Central park to the south of Manhattan. I appreciated very much the good continental breakfast and nice staff at the restaurant. Also the service at the reception was excellent, I would like to point out Alejandro for his great support. We will definitely come back.

It’s a horrible dungeon of a hotel with horrible dungeon like rooms. There isn’t even a closet in the room. I got a room with a ADA roll in shower … I would have preferred a proper shower instead. This place is like a Days Inn. Staff weren’t exceptional either. There was no valet or doorman outside to help with luggage.

Location is fantastic if you want to be slightly out of the way of the chaos of manhattan. Property has been updated nicely. Staff was great with the exception of bar staff,which was alittle slow and slightly inattentive.
But over all a great experience.
