Location is amazing next to penn station and staff are friendly

Great location, only 5 mins walk to the New York Penn station. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly.

very small room. Staff was friendly though. but whats disappointing was that the hotel actually double charged (to company credit card and to my personal card). Even they refunded, there was an exchange rate loss. Not even an apology.

Location is good I think

They did not have my correct name for check in and general confusion. I felt I was treated differently because I used trip.com. House keeping was not provided unless requested and then it was still not done No chocolate chi cookie was give at check in (this is their patent welcome). Check in was just as unorganized. The front entrance into the building can be intimidating for those with young families because there are groups of homeless people who take over the courtyard. Room size is good for Manhattan.

The location is very convenient! Location in the city center! The room is average in size but very tidy! The front desk staff was kind and the security guy opened the door for us to make it easier for us to come in and out! Very considerate!

The location is OK, the price is OK, the room is small for sure, it is impossible to open two 28-inch boxes at once.

Our stay at Double tree was excellent! The room was very clean. We had a great view of the Empire State Building. The rooftop bar was awesome! Definitely will be booking here again on my next trip to New York!

Overall good experience. Especially being in the heart of NYC. Bed could have been a little more comfortable but not bad.

Centrally located in the city. Standard rooms are small, but that’s expected in NYC. Would stay here again.

Upon check in, told there were no rooms left with 1 bed so had to have 2 beds. Hotel is very tired looking but beds were comfortable. However air vents were extremely noisy and air conditioning too. The room was very small and not sound proofed so heard sirens from main road all night. Room was dusty and dirty in places. When we checked in there was confusion about what had been paid and the outstanding balance - this was also a source of discussion when we checked out. Apart from check in, staff were friendly and we gave feedback but we are not sure what would have been done about it - no notes were taken at the time. Location was good but we wouldn’t stay here again.
