Except the location, everything else is disappointing.

I was staying in the Central Park West Hostel for 3 nights. The room smelled like pee all the time. The street where the hostel was located on didn't even smell like that, so I was confused what happened in that room. The smell was teally bad... In the bathroom there were plenty of trash, it wasn't very tidy. The service and the location were fine.

Well located in Upper West Side, close to Central Park and to the 87th subway station of line 1.

This place is not what it seems, the pictures you see are just a cover up. They did a remodel of what it could look like on some app and posted those pictures like if that’s what it looks like , but it’s not. The room they gave me had two bunk beds that were already occupied and the sheets where yellow. To the owner of this hotel please be honest and don’t scam travelers by showing them something you don’t really have.

The place is affordable and convenient

It is near Central Park and is convenient for travel, but the hygiene is very poor. There is no quilt on the bed and I was almost freezing at night. However, the front desk staff was very enthusiastic to provide assistance, which exceeded my expectations.

They are not clear and do not speak languages, to be a place in the heart of New York, they should have someone who speaks Spanish

Try not to stay here if you can. I would rather stay in a cafe or a central bus for one night than stay here again. There is a damp and greasy smell inside, and it smells like urine when you enter from the narrow staircase. It feels stuffy and the smell in the bathroom is simply nauseating. Although the room is of a decent size, there is no quilt or blanket to cover it. It is really smelly. It is also very noisy near the main road. I stayed there for three hours and left decisively

The shower room was spacious and the restroom was clean! There were no amenities in the shower. It's a bit inconvenient that Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby.

In 21st century New York, I actually found a hotel without internet. Make sure you never forget it. Another weird thing is that each room does not have a key card. Always ask the front desk staff to open the door for you. It's troublesome if you want to **.
