Luma Hotel Times Square Reviews

The biggest advantage is that it is spacious. In this location in the city center, the room can still open six 28-inch boxes on the ground. However, the facilities are relatively average. There is no central control panel for the lights and they must be turned on and off one by one. Even if you spend more money to buy a more expensive room type, there is no view outside the window. There are only two hot dishes for breakfast, and the others are mainly various breads and pastries. The hot water in the faucet is very turbid and the hot water pressure in the bathroom is relatively low. So the overall experience is average, four-star level. Only the room layout, service and location are good. If you only care about these, then this hotel is suitable.

The service attitude is very good, the room is big enough and very clean. The design is new and the equipment is modern. The parking lot is not far away, and you can also valet the car. But the lighting in the room is not good enough, and the sound insulation effect is not enough.

I went there for my honeymoon and the location was amazing!! Bryant Park was less than a 5-minute walk away and there was a supermarket just a 3-minute walk away, so it was really great. The staff always opened the door with a smile and the front desk staff smiled and greeted me, which was really nice. I was very satisfied and had a happy time because the room allowed me to open three large suitcases, which is rare in New York. Thank you^^

Great location. Close to everything, quiet at night. Clean hotel and rooms, comfortable beds. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Definitely stay there again!!!

Very central. Close to lots of shops and transport. Round corner from Times Square but quiet (on higher floor). Staff very helpful.

Having stayed at many Times Square area hotels, I would put the Luma near the top. Great staff, clean rooms and reasonably quick elevators. Having two king beds is a rarity and mad a second room for the kids unnecessary. The staff was first rate. Pleasant, helpful and quick to remember us and greet us a returning guests. Never felt like a number. Only negative is the lack of self-service ice anywhere in the hotel. Probably ended up tipping $40 for the week having ice delivered to the room a couple times a day.

I chose this hotel for the king sized beds which was hard to find in the city. The were comfy and the room was fine, small, but not a problem considering we weren't planning on spending much time there. The only real problem was that the room was in a "dead" space and our phones would not work without using the hotels wi-fi which was not password protected.

Excellent location close to Bryant Park, consistently attentive staff, and comfortable, quiet room. First time staying here. We booked LUMA Hotel Times Square based on reviews, and after our experience during our three-night stay, I would highly recommend to other travellers.

Fantastic property right in the heart of Bryant Park. Close to 5th Avenue, Times Square and all of the transport links at Bryant Park. The hotel is beautiful and clean, the staff are so warm and welcoming. We will absolutely be back at LUMA in the future.

Went on a girls trip with my two daughters. Picked this hotel because of its location and best of all it had two king beds! The staff could not have been more helpful. The room was very quiet and nicely appointed. Definitely would stay there again.
