Hotel is located close to metro statin and approximately 15 min to central Manhattan. Location around hotel is simply Bronx. No risky but watch around. On the web page there are only a few pictures from exterior pf the hotel. They know why ;) Our window was directly to the parking lot of waste treatment trucks which started to operate around midnight and were pretty noisy as quality of windows is really poor. Window handel was broken so impossible to get any fresh air. Hotel corridors were not clean enough. Generally this is an option for overpriced Manhattan, but considering negatives mentioned above.

Great

I had a great stay at the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The queen room on the 9th floor was perfect for just me - it was small but well designed and had everything I needed. It was also very clean. The bed was softer than mine at home, but it was so comfy. There were also a variety of pillows so I was able to get just the right one to sleep on and a blackout screen on the window to keep out light, so I slept like a baby both nights.
On my first night, I took advantage of the check-in coupon and ate at the restaurant. The bartender was super, happy hour had great pricing, and the dinner was exceptional (whole Snapper). The location is okay because it is only a block to a subway station, but there doesn't seem to be much of interest close by (hip hop museum is closed as they are on tour) and it is a bit far to Manhattan for reasonable prices on Uber. All-in-all though, it was a good experience and I had a fabulous quick trip to NYC.

Although the room is not big, it has all the basic facilities. There is no kettle. There is sparkling water on the first floor. It is next to the train line, but the soundproofing is OK. It is 5 minutes away from the subway station. The breakfast is simple, only bread.

The hotel is very good, not far from the subway, and provides carbonated water and ice water, which is almost impossible in other hotels in New York. The front desk will provide a water bottle, which will be returned when you check out, and you can fill it yourself in the elevator on the first floor. The room design is also very user-friendly. There is a small supermarket with cheap fruits two streets away, which seems to be opened by Koreans. Not far from Yankee Stadium

The address is a bit remote but close to Metro Line 4 and Line 5.
The breakfast is poor but everyone has it, and the basic nutrition is in place.
The key is that the price is not too high. Others are desperately raising the price during the peak week, but it has given itself a reasonable value positioning.
Not bad!

It only takes 2 minutes to walk out of the subway station. Although the room is small, it has everything you need. The outside environment is quite safe.

Although it is small, I had a comfortable rest.
But noise between floors? It may sound the same, but I had a good time resting.

This hotel is great in most ways - friendly and accommodating staff, clean, affordable, convenient location. But it has one major problem, and it's that there is a rooftop bar on the 2nd floor that blasts music loudly from at least 5PM to 8 or 9PM. Even though I was all the way up on the 9th floor, it sounded like the speakers were right outside my room. This may not be a problem if you have a room that faces in the opposite direction of the bar, or if you're never in your hotel room before 9PM, but if you're like me and would like to stop by your room and rest for a bit during the day, it completely ruins the experience. I don't think it's unreasonable at all to expect peace and quiet in your hotel room on vacation, but that's nearly impossible here. It's really unfortunate because otherwise this is a really great hotel, but I will certainly not be back.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. Before booking, I called to inquire about parking and was assured by a staff member that parking outside was an option. We arrived on a Saturday around 8 AM and parked our car outside while waiting for our 3 PM check-in. After spending the day in NYC, we returned to find that all our belongings—bags, clothes, a MacBook, etc.—had been stolen from our car in broad daylight. I explained the situation to the hotel, expressing that we no longer felt safe and wanted to return home instead of staying. However, they showed no empathy and refused to issue a refund, citing their 24-hour cancellation policy. It was frustrating, as this situation was completely unforeseen, and yet they were unwilling to accommodate us. Additionally, the hotel is extremely noisy due to the restaurant on the premises, and there are often shady individuals coming in and out. The valet parking is inadequate for the number of guests, and it costs $35 USD per day, significantly higher than nearby options, which charge $19.99 + taxes. I’ve been a loyal Wyndham customer for some time, but after this experience, I will not be returning. I would advise others to stay away from this hotel.

Natascha the front desk representative went above and beyond to help me when I showed up at the property at the middle of the night without a booking due to mistake with time zones. Also, lent me a phone charger 😄 The property is new, spotless clean, comfy large bed, good a.c, hot water, wifi, very close to a subway station to explore the main places. There is a safe in the room that fits a 14’ laptop. Felt safe and secure. Would be happy to stay again

The hotel was literally in the middle of buildings with graffiti all over them up and down the entire neighborhood on a street that did not look safe. The free breakfast consisted of bagels/toast, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, and coffee. The room was tiny - basically a closet with a bathroom that had all glass frosted glass walls (weird) with the shower wall (again with frosted glass) next to the bed. (Better stay with someone intimate and not just friends.) THe hallways were a dark dark purple color (creepy vibe) and the beds were small. Overpriced and, in my opinion, not safe. I will not be staying there again. At best it's comparable to a holiday inn at around $50 a night (it was the size of a closet) but I paid over $300. Oh, and parking next door is an additional $35 a night.

This was the most horrible hotel. Check in lady was mean and didn't want to be bothered. She didn't even let us check in. There's glass walls for the bathroom walls- making our stay with friends extremely uncomfortable. The shower water spread throughout the bathroom. The sink was in the sleeping area, there's no counter space around the sink for makeup and toiletries. The air conditioner was shut off in the middle of the night causing us to wake up overheated. There's no microwaves, the breakfast was just cereal and toast. The elevator was broken. The bed only comes with sheets and 2 pillows. When we asked for a comforter, they sent us another sheet and 2 towels. This was by far the worst place I've stayed at besides the cleanliness. There were no positive moments about staying there. We also requested a new hotel thru wyndham, and they wanted to put us in a hotel 25 mins away and out of the city. This was a truly horrible experience.

The hotel is amazing. The staff helped us get around the city providing us with directions. The rooms were super clean with daily cleaning. The hotel is close to Yankee Stadium and a 5 minute walk to the train station on 138 . I will be coming back when I come to the city
