From reading all the reviews I was very skeptical but as staying here by MYSELF it wasn't as bad as everyone made it seem. Yes the location isn't the safest but the bus stop is on the same block and the subway station is right down the street. I was out until 3-4am every night and nothing happened to me. There are homeless people anywhere you go, you just have to mind your own business. The hotel as a whole wasn't too bad. The heat is on 24/7. You don't have your own thermostat so I would suggest getting a balcony so you can leave your door cracked open as it gets hot fast. Overall for the price I would stay here again. I would suggest asking for room 605, everything worked and the balcony view was beautiful.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! It is like something out of a horror movie and we couldn’t get out fast enough. We stayed just long enough to book somewhere else. Shame on Travelocity for even listing this nightmare.

Horrible experince with my kids. The elevstor sounds and looks horrible, the hallwaysvlook sketchy and the room was the worst. Pictures online look much better than in real life. Dirty, things Written On the walls, broken locks and a bathroom door with severe water damage. We had to broow blankets from family to feel comfortable staying

It was terrible experience you can hear all the noice across the walls no light in the restroom no cleanliness you cannot feel secured in that place the smell was terrible as well I don’t recommend this place the price as well too high for a bad experience we had and unsafe .

I booked the room with a balcony when I got there. The balcony was bolted shut. The room was very uninviting and dark and very small. New York is not known for its big hotel rooms which is fine, but this one extra small I was not happy I even checked out three days early and did not spend the first night in the hotel. I went somewhere else Front desk personnel was not friendly and if she look like she was more worried about her phone then anything. They did not have parking and when you asked if there were any parking garages nearby, I was just looked at as if they had no idea what I was talking about. I guess because they don’t have cars, It was very unpleasant and I’ll never stay there again.
