Because the plane was late, I arrived at the hotel at 1 o'clock in the middle of the night. The lady at the front desk helped me to check in very quickly. It was the speed of New York. Hotel location is very good. About 5 minutes walk to Fifth Avenue, turn to Central Park, and the subway station will walk for 5 minutes. The hotel is a post-modern urban minimalist style, the room is good, very New York apartment feel, but the breakfast is a bit too casual, too simple, but the breakfast at the New York hotel is probably so good, it is a very good hotel

The location of the hotel is invincible. You can walk to Central Park, Times Square, and countless famous attractions in Manhattan. Next to the subway station, the transportation is very convenient. The hotel service is also very good. Hair dryer and coffee machine were sent to the front desk by phone. The room was clean and tidy. It is basically full, causing the elevators to be very tight and need to wait. Some rooms in the hotel are a bit old-fashioned, and the details such as the corners may not be very beautiful. Let's see if someone pays attention.

We wanted a hotel for a night close to the cruise terminal. The hotel was perfect for that and within a walking distance from the cruise terminal. Elevators are SLOW and it takes forever to catch one - Some people preferred to walk down than to try and wait.

I was scared to stay here after reading the negative reviews however it was ok. Very basic. The beds were not like a UK double they were smaller. The rooms were ok and I got fresh towels every day however no bed change, I was there for 4 nights. It was very dusty round the corners of the floor next to the walls where it clearly is missed with the vacuum, this is not hard to miss, I wasn’t crawling around the floor. They didn’t have 24 hour security on the “reception desk” My safe stopped working and wouldn’t open and when I went down no one was there. I had to go out the front to ring the door bell which he then popped his head out of room 1, he must live there. He then told me he’s trying to sleep and I’d need to wait till 9am for someone else when they arrive. This was at 8am so I definitely wasn’t waiting an hour, he finally agreed to come and manually open the safe which had the rest of my money. The heating was on constant but it was far too hot, I asked for it to be turned off and said he couldn’t it’s on a boiler. The air con was ok but still remained very hot! All in all it was ok and no resort fees but I wouldn’t stay again. The price and location was fine, 10 minutes from Time Square.

This hotel is a fantastic option if you have the right expectations. Pros: Fantastic location, huge rooms (for NYC), clean, no extra charge for 3 or 4th guest in 2-queen rooms, great price Cons: This seems like it was previously a 4 or 5 star hotel that hasn't had much maintenance in the last 30 years and is now a limited service hotel offering reasonable prices. It is clean but a little rough around the edges (could use some paint and wallpaper repairs, some stains in carpets, etc). Staff are very nice but sparse, so you may need to have a little patience at check-in, towel requests etc. Overall, I think it's a good value for money, especially if you're a family and don't want to pay for an extra room for the kids. The pictures are very accurate in terms of what the place will look like, though they don't show some of the slightly shabby aspects.

Amazing hotel with great views of Central Park. Our room was spectacular. As a Titanium Elite Member we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom Park Avenue Suite. It was absolutely stunning. The bed was comfortable and so was the living room area. So happy we decided to stay here! I was a little dissappointed as I called/emailed months ahead of time to see if there was anything that they could do complimentary for my husbands 50th birthday (cake, fruit, anything...etc...) and was told they would do something, but they didn't.
