14 firefighters from Scotland all agreed it was fantastic! We stayed for 4 nights and found the hotel clean, in an ideal location and the staff were so helpful. The rooms had a large fridge, microwave and coffee machine! Thry even gave us a wee goody bag with water and crisps when we checked in. A couple of the guys used the gym and said it was small but ideal. It's close to the subway but I walked everywhere, sometimes on my own at night and never had any hassle. There's free tea and coffee in the foyer and big praise for the 99c pizza shop next door. We would definitely stay here again.

This was such an awesome place to stay. We didn’t even have to leave the hotel to have a NYC experience. As 2 women, we felt SAFE, the room was super clean, updated, and trendy. The hotel and hotel staff was warm and welcoming. Mac Ward (the hotel manager) helped us with our stay and itinerary and we’re SO GRATEFUL FOR HIM!!!!!!! We had dinner at hotel restaurant, Cathedrale, and the food and service went above our expectations. The rooftop bar is beautiful, and the drinks were amazing! Cannot wait to do another girls trip here! Thank you so much to the Moxy and Mac!!

When 1 star is still to many, this place is the absolute worst! My wife n i started off our night great at their rooftop restaurant, we decided we liked the hotel and wanted to stay the night. At this point it was about 10pm and we weren’t sure if there would be rooms. I took the elevator down to the main floor and went to the front desk, it was deserted, waiting over 20 minutes and the front desk was not attended by anyone. After giving up i went back upstairs and went on the hotel website. It said there was a room available so we booked it and continued to enjoy the rooftop. Once we were tired we went back to the front desk, this being around 12:30-1:00, we were greeted by the rudest hotel worker I’ve ever met in my life, i had explained we came down earlier nobody was here so we booked a roof for tonight on the website. That started her nasty attitude. “Yea no, we don’t have rooms to bad was her response” she continued to pull down her mask as she spoke very closely to my face and i explained i am Immune comprised due to have a bad case of Covid last year with only having partial lung functioning and please stop pulling down your mask especially it is hotel policy as stated in the lobby for employees to wear a mask at all times. Her response is she can do as she pleases and if i don’t like i can leave. Her response was you booked a room for Sunday and it’s isn’t Sunday (even though it was Sunday) so tooo bad with the nastiest attitude, i said can you please look up the reservation and let me know for sure as now it’s late and i live over over two hours away and had already been charged $265 for the room: her response was nope not my problem you’re going to have to figure it out yourself. I pulled up the website again infront of her and explained it won’t let me cancel the reservation on the app because the room was booked for that time i arrived. She refused to help continued to make nasty comments and walked away. Now I’m out $265! Had to drive over 2 hours home because they refused to even Check the computer. When i asked for her name because i wanted to make a complaint and make sure i would get a refund, she called a manager from the back room who arrived with security guards like i was some criminal. As i sat down with the manager to explain the attitude i received by the nasty front desk attendant i again requested her name from the manager i was told She cannot tell me her name. Don’t understand how that’s possible and why did the lady take her name tag offf because obviously she knew she was out of line and just Milking a paycheck refusing to do the job she is paid for. The manager explained i would receive a full refund but i had to leave, no problem so i walked outside, they locked the door and walked away! So now I’m Locked out side the door without my refund late at night in Manhattan, looking through the door the lady continues to pull down her make laugh and make remarks to the manager about me and they both laughed together and

I was really looking forward to our stay at the Redford Hotel. It is located in a very busy area in NYC (Lower East Side) and just minutes from where we needed to be. The reviews and online photos were very positive. The rates were a little high, but was expecting that for a Saturday stay in New York City. However, for the price we paid, the hotel was very below average. The room was dirty (liquid stains on the walls, dust and dirt on the floor between the bed and wall), the WiFi failed to work, the satellite TV failed to emit any signal (thus no TV). Worst yet was the safety issues: the ceiling room sprinkler system had a plastic bag covering it (may have been the smoke detector; we couldn't tell since the plastic bag was covering it)! The windows were paper thin as well, so we could hear everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) on the street when going to be for the night. The service was ok. Both individuals working at the front desk during our stay were kind and tried to help when they could, but they had no extra rooms to move us to and didn't have any authority to provide a discount when requested. The only reason I wouldn't give this one star is because the location is great. You are in the thick of the Lower East Side, so close to a lot of bars, restaurants, etc.

Attractive rooms in need of maintenance. Bed was clean and comfortable. Upper level corner room was very noisy. Bare bones staff. Room phone had no way to call the front desk, housekeeping, etc. We had to call the hotel main # from our cell phones to get an extra blanket. The second floor ”lobby” was deserted. Chipped floor tiles, broken shower door, slow draining sink and toilet ran throughout my stay. Based on the limited staff i encountered, i didn't bother trying to contact ”housekeeping” or maintenance because I assumed they were aware of the problems and didn't have the staff available to help me out. No amenities to speak of. They offered a gym, coffee/pastries in the morning and wine for an hour in the afternoon. Coffee was cold, no attendant... No water offered... The website shows an adjacent cafe which is closed.. Scaffolding at the entrance so it is barely visible unless you know exactly what you're looking for. i had an upper floor room and felt as though i was staying on level 2 of Bourbon street in Nola. Noise all night. The people in room above me were up late and early. Sounded like a zumba class at 6 am sunday. Moving furniture around throughout the night. I chose it because of its proximity to the places i needed to visit on my trip.

The Ludlow Boutique Hotel in the Soho district of New York is ideally located for shopping in the nearby shops and brunch cafes. The point is that the scenery is really great! Margiela's bathrobes, Marvis's toothbrushes, and cute Boxed Water are pleasing to the details. The fixed room type is Loft Queen, and the holiday of 3600RMB is not worth a night! And the le labo's care kit has been changed now. However, such a scenery is worthy of the off-season.

the staff was amazing and really friendly. the hotel is within walking distance to hip neighborhoods and shopping district. great bakery next door too! my only gripe is they’re charging high rates for an outdated hotel. everything smells musty and the curtains couldn’t be drawn properly - it’s small thing like this that make a difference when you’re paying rates like $500-600 a night. do better, standard. or are you, low standard?
