Very nice hotel inside, being in Chinatown it caters primarily aimed at Chinese clientele, hence it was difficult for us to find many options of vegetarian breakfast. Having said that, there was always fruits, breads, toasts, etc the standard staples so no complaints. Reception staff weren't too welcoming as they seemed to just get you past their desk, not sure whether that was racism or just the culture. Rooms are nice and spacious and location of hotel is very convenient for travellers depending on public transport. Several of chinese eateries right at the doorstep.

My husband and i stayed at this hotel last week while visiting for the Us Open Tennis. i wanted to stay at a new clean modern place and it fit al those perfectly. Upon arrival to LGA we called and the hotel shuttle came and picked us up at 12 midnight .check in was quick and easy. i will say the air conditioner noise is 100% correct. we got there at midnight and once in the room i was like what the heck is that noise. luckily the room was cool and we turned it off for the night. ( we could not sleep with that noise) the next day we left the air on since we would be gone and the room was cool enough to turn the ac off at night. to get to the us open we would take the 7 train to the Mets Station one station down and we were within walking distance to the Tennis Stadium. we felt safe after the game at about 1 am to take the 7 train back one stop and walk the 10 minutes to the hotel.For purposes of the US Open to me this is the best hotel. all of the others near LGA had horrible reviews. this hotel is beautiful, new and modern. they also have a coffee shop that was convenient. having the 7 train nearby is a huge plus. overall i will be back to this hotel.

The hotel Is very modern and clean but the pool did not open until 3pm and closed at 9pm. This was very disappointing because the pool looked nice. Also the gym closed at 9pm. The staff were not customer focused and not very helpful. They looked irritated when we asked them a question. The parking fee is also too high and should be cheaper. If they change the parking and pool rules and teach their staff to smile and be pleasant I would consider staying again but if not, I probably will not stay their again.

Great location. But the service standards absolutely disappointed. In room telephone was not working and despite repeated complaints it was not repaired through my stay of 4 nights. So basically we had to go down all the way to reception every time we wanted something at the room. From toiletries to food to water. Even the front desk as well as the duty manager simply expressed inability to do anything about it Initially even some of the lights in the room were not working. Clearly one of the worst stays of my life at a big brand hotel All in all a big disappointment

Two doormen stationed at the front entrance saw us retrieving our luggage from the cab trunk, but made no attempt to help. I had checked in a day earlier and was great full that the room was made available at 12 PM . They did tell us there was no view; I was okay with that as we are in NY regularly and at this trip it was not a priority. I haven’t stayed at this hotel in a few years, but remembered the excellent butler service and lovely accommodations, and was looking forward to it. The checkin felt like something one would expect at a Highway motel. No explanation of any services, no welcome drink, no Butler introductions, nobody accompanied you to the room or directed you to the elevator. The room had the tiniest window, with a curtain without a valance (# 1406) facing a wall a few feet away. No Natural light what so ever. The leather head rest on the bed was ripped on a couple of spots. It had only one not very comfortable lounge chair in a fairly large king room. So if you are a couple, you cannot even sit together for a cup of coffee. In the past at checkin the butler would introduce themselves, offer coffee , tea etc and make sure you were satisfied with the accommodations. We had ballet tickets for a matinee, so initially decided to just go with the flow. Went for a quick lunch at the Astor, paid around $170 for 2 ceaser salads, a bloody mary and a glass of Duvel Leroy Champagne. I have no problems paying premium prices for value , but $28 for a Bloody Mary with a celery stalk garnish and stoli vodka? They claimed to have invented it , but definitely not worth the price. When we returned back from the ballet and returned to the room , it seemed really depressing. They call it an interior room , but it could easily be in a windowless basement. We requested a room change and requested to speak to a manager. We were told the manager was downstairs and would call us back. We were going to dinner, so left the front desk our cell number. The manager ever returned the call. On our return when we requested a room change, we were told that they were completely sold out. At this point we were exhausted an decided to just let it go and returned to our room for a good nights sleep. It was around 10:30 PM, and there was a continuous loud rumbling sound. When we called the front desk , we were told that the noise was from their service elevator which was being used a lot that night as 2 of their 4 passenger elevators had been broken for a couple of days. They offered to now move us to another room. So at 11 Pm we had to get dressed and pack up to move to another room. The new room (1903), had a moldy smell. Got up next morning with a back ache as the bed was not comfortable. In the morning the moldy smell seems to have gotten even worse and I did report that. Having arrived last night to be told our 4bed room wasn’t available (as the hotel was overbooked) and we’d have to have single rooms which we accepted as we had no choice, we’ve come in tonight to be told we have to move to the room we originally had. And how we should have been told last night! Even our keys didn’t work when we tried to get in to the rooms to move out. An apology for the miscommunication was made but it’s just not good enough- whilst moving out we’ve even had house keeping knocking to see if we’ve moved yet. This really isn’t good enough - had we known last night it wouldn’t have been a problem but the way it’s been done is appalling we’ve been made to feel like it’s somehow our fault and problem. No details of the general manager (as I’d have rather had that conversation prior to a review) as the one from previous posts has clearly left! Should anyone from luxurban want to contact please do. Our opinion of the hotel has been really positive up to now, things can only get better!!

Amazing hotel with great views of Central Park. Our room was spectacular. As a Titanium Elite Member we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom Park Avenue Suite. It was absolutely stunning. The bed was comfortable and so was the living room area. So happy we decided to stay here! I was a little dissappointed as I called/emailed months ahead of time to see if there was anything that they could do complimentary for my husbands 50th birthday (cake, fruit, anything...etc...) and was told they would do something, but they didn't.

The location is nice, close to Times Square. The hotel is clean, as other Hilton hotels. Breakfasts are good too, with very pleasant service. But there are some things that left that bitter feeling after my stay that I would like to share. 1. Destination charge. This is the second Hilton hotel in New York I have stayed at, and both charged additional USD35 for so-called destination fee per night. As the receptionist said, it’s MANDATORY. This 35 dollars are charged per day and the guest must use it the same day, they don’t even accumulate. How do you spend it? In the hotel restaurant or bar. What can you buy with it? Three bottles of drinking water, or two cans of beer…. Why am I forced to spend my money on the things that I don’t need and that are so overpriced? You already charged me for the room, and I happily paid for it. 2. The hotel page here shows a picture of “swimming”. It’s a rooftop swimming pool. I was excited to have a chance to spend some time in the pool. The reception said there was none. Please remove the picture from the page, as it is misleading. 3. There is no tea or coffee in the room. That’s the amenity available in every hotel, even the cheap ones. But when we called the service, they said: no, we don’t offer coffee or tea. But they did bring us a kettle:) I can see that it’s not listed in the available amenities here, but I didn’t even expect that. It’s such a little thing that makes your guest’s stay more comfortable. Anyways, it was quite a pleasant stay despite these unpleasant details. Thank you.

I felt very small when I first entered the room, but it was strange. The experience was getting better and better. The room was really small, but the details were very good. The system is also more advanced than most hotels in the United States, and the air-conditioning panel has strong feedback, but the only thing I feel a little regret is that even in the premium room, the bed is only Queen size. But intimately, the sofa next to it can be adjusted into a single sofa bed. Location Needless to say, Fifth Avenue and Bryant Park are convenient for going to Manhattan. The hotel is new and the staff at the front desk looks superb. Ask a question, the number of hotel rooms should be large, breakfast needs to be lined up, the elevator needs to wait for a while, and the hotel facilities need to be improved. If you are very concerned about the size of the room, you don't need to choose this hotel. The 32 square meters mentioned by Ctrip does not exist at all. There is no introduction of square meters on their own website. I don't know where Ctrip's 32 square meters come from, which is false information. Summary: small, exquisite, new, good location; Ctrip and Ctrip's agents are very unreliable! !! !!
