just out of Newark Penn station, great location Nice storage free service Free shuttle to Newark airport

Hygiene is OK, but the service is really not good. The front desk clerk had several late-night faces, without even a hint of a smile, and forgot to give us breakfast coupons when we checked in; There is no hair dryer in the room, and the bottles of body wash and conditioner are empty, and no one has refilled them after saying twice. The hardware is also average, probably because it is relatively old, the noise of the air conditioner is huge, and the switch from the bathtub faucet to the shower faucet is not easy to use when taking a bath.

The location is convenient, you can go directly to amtrak from the hotel passage. The facilities in the room are old but the sanitation is OK The restaurant at the check-in entrance of the hotel is very unpalatable 1, and gratuity is directly added to the bill

The service attitude at the front desk is average, there is no toothbrush and toothpaste Give me a room next to the elevator, the whole night is the sound of the elevator going up and down

Very nice, great location

clean and good service He even helped print the corona test results 🥺👏 There is also an airport shuttle bus, which is very convenient. Will use again next time

The hotel is a bit old, quite satisfactory

Lovely large room with comfy beds and good en-suite facilities. A little dated but clean. Supplies for room were varied with towels missing some days and a long wait to get coffee and cups to room whichhad been overlooked. Location perfect for trains into New York. Breakfast was excellent.

Positive : Location is very convenient, free transport to airport, lots of dining options nearby. Room is clean and staff friendly. Negative : the connecting door/wall is paper thin. I can hear people next room talking in normal tone, when they raise their voice it is as if they are in the same room as us.

The Staff at this location is very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, there were many difficulties with the room, the door closer was broken and made it almost impossible to get in and out of the room, which was a fire hazard, and they did not fix it during my stay. Some of the amenities provided normally buy hotels like toilet paper was not there, and I had to request it after I got into my room. Beware that there is a $56 parking fee if you park in the garage that I was not made aware of when I rented the room

We had a 22 hour layover in Newark and decided to take our kids into Manhattan for the day. The hotel emailed instructions in advance so we knew exactly how to find the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Helpful staff. Baggage storage was simple at the concierge so we could take the train into NYC. Penn Station was right outside the front door. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and honestly the quietest hotel bed I’ve ever slept on.

I did like the place but missing a few night dinning and quite place for drinks or socializing

This is still a pretty good alternative to staying in Manhattan, but this hotel is definitely showing its age and hasn't been that well maintained. The staff is pretty marginal, and worst of all, the Doubletree cookies were overdone!

Really loved how easy and accessible this particular location is with everything. Just need some vegan food options to make it a perfect experience.
