I was so pleased with the facilities - very unique layout of the hotel, kind of a fun and mysterious experience to explore the property and gain my bearings. I get a little tired of the typical hotel layout - it's always exciting to get a unique setup like this one.
The hotel has been in business since 1969 but has obviously been completely redone, probably multiple times since then because it feels so fresh and new. There wasn't anything that felt old or stale - the entire room felt so clean and new, I highly recommend for germaphobes like myself. I felt very comfortable here.
More than anything, I was so moved by the customer service. Being a semi-frequent guest of hotels all over, I've come to learn that lowering my expectations before checking in at most places will prepare me for the inevitable disappointment - haha. BUT this was not the case here - the gentleman who checked me in was beyond friendly and helpful, I felt so touched by the personal effort he clearly put into ensuring my check-in experience was special. I will remember that for a long time. The lady who assisted me in the evening with a small purchase in the lobby and adding my rewards number to the reservation was also very friendly and not in a forced or ingrnuine way. I truly felt her kindness, both, through the phone, and over the counter. She went above and beyond to make me feel valued as a guest/customer and associates like her and her coworker who checked me in just don't go easily forgotten in my book.
The guest service and unique experience you're sure to have when you stay here are what set this hotel apart from the rest. I absolutely recommend if you're in the area. What a lovely place for anyone to come visit but still feel right at home. :)

We came to Simi Valley to visit friends and family. I am so glad we chose this location. The shape of the buildings makes it convenient to all the amenities. The daily breakfast is real food and good coffee and juices, which we appreciated. The rooms have a refrigerator and microwave. The rooms were cleaned early everyday and done when we returned, even with a few special touches. The staff is amazing, pleasant, on top of any needs and always smiling. The rooms could use some updating but the price justifies it. The pool was clean and never got over crowded. The location was close to shopping and the Reagan Library and Museum. We would definitely come again.

I stayed at the hotel last weekend (checked out Nov 5th) and shortly after my sons baseball game noticed that I had left his shoes in the room. I called the hotel - no one was helpful. I tried to see if housekeeping recovered the shoes, if someone had checked into the hotel, maybe they were still under the desk? I could not get any information except that they would check with housekeeping. I called again on Monday - no information. Called on Tuesday - no information. I received an email this morning (Wednesday) from Pauline (the regional manager) stating that housekeeping does not have them and an apology that ”you lost your shoes”. I am livid! I did not loose the shoes. Instead, the message should have said, ”I am sorry you left your shoes in the room and my housekeeping stole them”! They were in the room! Anyhow, I have stayed at this place probably 20ish times for convenience (baseball park is close by), but I would not recommend - the rooms stink, the windows do not open so it's stuffy and smells like mildew, staff is not friendly, and now add to the list - the housekeeping are thieves!

Nice, newer property that is well maintained and well appointed. The only weird thing is that it’s in the same building as a Courtyard by Marriott and I wasn’t initially clear on where to park and check in. Once I figured out that it’s the same parking lot, same lobby, same common areas and same front desk, I got checked in and was on my way to my room. Had and overall great stay!

Typical HIE, nothing great. First when checking in, my profile which specifically asks for a room located near the elevator (and even though I'm a Spire Elite) the front desk clerk never acknowledged my status and proceeded to give me the furthest room from the elevator which was quite far away at the other end of the building. I think he was traumatized by Covid-19 as he was totally PPE'd up including ridiculous looking snorkeling goggles. The room was decent but many electrical outlets didn't work and overall the room was quite dark unless you went around a found all the ”mood” lighting space around the room. The bathroom has the most pathetic water spout in the sink, the kind you get in the airports that supposed work when you put your hands underneath. It didn't work well and came out in FULL force that you couldn't adjust. So if you want to brush your teen, you have to wave your hand underneath the spout, hope it ”senses” the movement and then the water blasts out and maybe it will get warm before it shuts off. It's the most poorly designed faucet I have ever used, one absolutely nobody would have in their home and most certainly should not be in the hotel. Pathetic.

Checking in the hotel was a breeze. Rudy was very helpful and provided all the information needed for my overnight stay at the hotel. The king suite room was clean and had all basic amenities. I was given free bottled water for being a member of Hilton. Breakfast was great! The best thing was that Trader Joe’s was literally just steps away! I would stay at this hotel again.

Hotel is good, that is, the Holiday Inn has to collect the deposit, it will take a long time to return, forced to feel very uncomfortable, it is best not to choose the Holiday Inn, basically every holiday hotel receives a deposit! Close to restaurants, gym 360 victory gym, excellent service This place had clean rooms and excellent service even when we landed near midnight. The showers had a lot of force and they went the extra mile to give us rooms next to each other. The breakfast was great and both Jazmin and Mason helped our family with seniors who had food restrictions. The service was simply superb especially since we experienced the opposite in Marriott at Anaheim in harbor The beds were comfy and there was ample parking. There is an in n out right next to it and few restaurants including this sit down thai place. It has orange theory near by and the gymnastics camp is 5 minutes away. There is a camarilla outlet mall about 15 mins away and it was fun to explore. Food included tater tots, eggs any style, fritats, pan cake, french toast, avocado toast, breakfast burritos, sandwiches and all the usual Starbucks food as well. It was all great.

GGuest UserI stayed at this property many times and was the first choice when coming to the area. It is located in a prime location off the 101 freeway with a Walgreens, Starbucks, and Walmart grocery store within walking distance. This property was on the pricier side, was somewhat dated, and the front-desk staff friendly. I made the reservation May 2022 while there was nothing indicating a parking charge. They have a nice spacious parking lot with overflow parking at the Walmart grocery store next door. I don't see any reason to justify a parking charge, as it was complimentary for at least the past ten years I had stayed there. $10/night was added for each day of the stay without any notice. I will not be returning to this property and will drive an additional ten minutes to the Hampton Inn in Agoura Hills with FREE parking.

GGuest UserWe originally made our reservation here simply because it was between Point A and Point B on our road trip. But after traveling around southern California, staying in less-than-happy hotels, and dealing with traffic; we turned to each other and said, ”Let's just go back to Palm Garden and relax for a few days.” The staff -- everyone! -- was friendly, the place was immaculate, the pool and garden area lovely and relaxing. Rosewood Trail and a movie theater close by. At this point, I'd go back there as our sole destination!

Pros: Clean room, nice housekeeping staff. Coffee ( a medium dark roast would be my suggestion, better balanced against the provided dark roast) and microwave in the lobby. Walmart, Starbucks, Walgreens, restaurants and grocery stores all nearby/ walking distance. Cons: $20 for early check in.People are residing there long-term and some; they're quite unsavory. Room doors open, ppl hanging outside the doors, shoes stacked outside the door along with trash which the groundskeepers do try to keep up. Dogs barking as well as dog poop in the rocks that you will cross over between your car and the room. The Wi-Fi was broken during this visit. The ice machine was broken and it's upstairs so if you're disabled you're out of luck. There was a spider in the room as shown in the photos. My suggestion as I will do would be to stay at another nearby motel 6 such as Simi Valley or Camarillo- much better environment much better and functioning amenities.

JJIANEverything is ok, there is a place to sell food next to it. Generally speaking, it is worth the price. The place is a little bit off. I drove over a mountain from the sea to reach this hotel.
