The bedding was clean and smelling fresh . We didn't leave with rotten food because the bar fridge was provided for us. The view was out of this world. Overall everything was amazing we did enjoy our stay and we hoping to come back pretty soon.

Lanherne Guest house is full of character, the hostess is the most welcoming person ensuring guests are happy, she provides a wealth of information and assistance. A place that stands out with its personality, its history and character. Delicious breakfasts cooked on the spot, rooms are well appointed and clean.

The breakfast was okay, and the rooms were clean. There a few maintenance issues to be attended to - like the room we slept on the geyser did not work so in the morning we moved to another room to be able to refresh. Noise at night is a concern - guests come to have parties until the early hours of the morning and noise in not managed.

We enjoyed our stay. Easy to access secure parking. Clean apartment and friendly staff. A drying cloth for the cups and mugs would be nice. Or next time I will remember to bring my own. We would love to return when we visit Grahamstown again.
