Great location, close to the riverside and also the train station. The Hotel’s room generally is alright, the cleanliness is ok, the pillows absolutely fine for me. The only problem is the huge noise made by the air conditioning during using period.

Close to quayside. I booked a no window room but there was a window actually. The curtain was so dirty. It’s good for a night stay.

We had a great stay, the price was awesome but next time I will go elsewhere cos I missed having a kettle! If you want a decent room at an amazing price I don't think you could do better

The only thing that I didn't like was the receptionist lied to me about the bathroom amenities.

The room was very clean and really great value for money except the fact that there was no heating at night which was a bit off. Overall I would stay at the hotel again because it was a good walk distance from the city center and the night attractions were close by for visiting. Would recommend!

good. But it took 5 pounds to store the baggage. I don’t think it is ok for a hotel to do this. It should be free.

Hotel was clean and in a great location. Very basic facilities but good price. The staff were friendly and helpful. Just be aware that it is down a large hill from the train station

The price is not high but the cost-effectiveness is very low. You can stay in a much better hotel with just a little extra money, and booking is much more expensive than the same day's price. I despise this kind of business strategy! The room facilities are very simple, with almost nothing except the bed, and there is no cleaning service during the stay. Note that it is not far from the train station, but the hotel is located below a steep slope, and the actual feeling is much farther and more tiring than on the map. Also, for some reason, arriving at the room requires passing through four fire doors, all closed and pushed open one by one, which is not the case in any other hotel. If the target is not a bar by the Tyne River, it is really not recommended.

Horrible experience on this hotel, poor wi-fi and mobile signal and unfriendly staff on the reception! Avoid!

Truthfully this was a panic-booking! After LNER cancelled every train moving southbound from Newcastle, I just chose the cheapest place I could find in the city I was stranded in. With easyHotel, check-in was super seamless even though we had to wait a little bit in queue. Receptionists were friendly and helpful, and walked us through check-in and check-out. Arriving in our room, it was definitely cozy but it absolutely did the job for what we needed for the night! It was clean, bed was comfortable, there was television for entertainment, a table and a chair if you need them, toilet was spotless, and shower had wonderful water pressure. We were even allowed to order in food from Deliveroo at two separate occasions, which we thoroughly appreciated after a long and disappointing journey of cancelled trains and bitter weather. We had a fun dinner in our room while watching rugby, it just made for such an enjoyable stay! We slept really well and got freshened up for a new day with no hassle at all. Check-out was, of course, seamless once again and once we got out of easyHotel in the daylight we came to appreciate the stunning scenery of Newcastle we were nestled in! The location was surprisingly so nice, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect accidental stay to a new city. It definitely relieved so much of our tiredness and disappointment from the previous day. Definitely a 10/10, would recommend you to stay in at easyHotel if you're planning a short trip or a cheap alternative ♡

Window didn't shut properly. Heating didn't work. Doubled price of late check out.

The receptionist was very friendly and check-in was easy. The bed was really comfortable, the room was clean, had a hair dryer, a large mirror and a shower gel. Soundproofing was not great (we could hear everything that was going on on the corridor) but luckily other guests were not loud at night. The window blind was broken. Overall it was a good stay - a good location and a comfortable bed was all we needed.
