Reasonably priced - comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Decor is a little tired but signs around the hotel indicate that refurbishment will occur. Overall, it was good value for an overnight stay.

Close to The Newport (a garden-style dining room for eating and drinking during the day, and an open-air Disco at night), there is still a loud noise at 10 o'clock in the evening, which is not suitable for people who are prone to insomnia. Standard room are not the best choice, no views at all.
Parking is not easy as well in double pays
Bathroom drains flooded after shower
Tv remote isn’t working,
No room amenities other than a fridge and a kettle
However it is a across the road from“The Newport” where lots of Pubs, cafe’ and restaurants.

Great view from small balcony and close to shops. Good that there was parking included, but not so great that my husband accidentally walked into the low support concrete beam on his way out of the carport and sustained a large lump on his head that nearly knocked him out ☹️

Room was filthy and dirty there was even someone Elses hair in the bathtub, air-conditioning rattled all night could not get any sleep. Dirty carpet and old dirty furniture that i Remember being there 25 years ago place is just so old and overdue for an update.
Staff where good they moved us to another room and comped us breakfast and a bottle of wine.

Worse accomodation I’ve ever stayed in, old half the lights not working, smoke detectors removed, smelt like mould, feel like we were in the dungeon of the building.
