Love the fact that there was no problem tuning a different station for my baseball game. The vibe from the servers was not welcoming. No smile, no giving us her name, just "Are you ready?" We were in today, July 1, abt 12. Even the gal who acted like the manager surprised us with a rude response to our "So how about your Bud Lite orders" - She seemed offended and said something about a commercial on tv ?? Anyway, Abigail, the bar helper was very pleasant. No one tells me how or when to review a business. My hubs and I are locals.

This Hotel is in need of good cleaning & renovation. The lift & corridors have dirty floors & threadbare carpets in places. Our bed was clean & comfortable but the room carpet was dirty. The microwave was filthy but the fridge was clean. The shower worked fine , sink & toilet were clean, but floor & walls need cleaning & decorating. Free WiFi worked well & room was quiet. Helpful Lady on the Reception Desk.

Terrible customer service, manager is dishonest and heartless. We booked through ********** months before our trip. We selected the pay at hotel option. Checked our booking the day we left, everything was good. Our booking was still on **********. we drove over 9 hours with our 3 year old son. We arrived at 9pm and the front desk staff said "Oh, the manager canceled that booking for nonpayment". The booking was still active on ********** so I showed him that we selected the pay at hotel option so how could it he canceled for nonpayment. The employee shrugged and said the manager canceled 4 other bookings that day because their was an event in town and then proceeded to relist the rooms he canceled at higher rates. We demanded he call the manager, ge did the manager refused to fix the situation and told us too bad, go to a different hotel. We waited 2 hours trying to find a new hotel, which luckily, ********** did find us something. How could a manager be so heartless to strand families to make more money. Awful. Hotel smelled of mold in the lobby anyway.

Night shift female who worked front desk was horrible! Facility was disgusting. I literally walked into the room and walked out! There was a dirt ring in the bathtub, the tv was sitting on a night stand, dust and a sticky substance on the counter. Comforter was stained and room reeked of smoke odor but the room was “non smoking.” I proceeded to the front desk and the female at the front desk told me they didn’t have any more rooms available and I had to reach out to *********** to request a refund. It is now day 9 and I still don’t have a refund, I’ve continuously been told “we reached out to the property and we have not heard back as of yet.” *********** granted me a “goodwill” credit of $30 on day 5 of waiting but there’s still a $171 difference that I’ve lost that no one is speaking about because “they cannot get in contact with the property.” It’s literally highway robbery. I paid for accommodations and neither *********** or Oyster Point Inn and Suites were able to accommodate me. Do not stay at this “business” and don’t use *********** as a platform to make accommodations because they no longer value loyal customers.

The room was a decent size and clean. The best part might have been the nice walk-in shower without having to risk falling by climbing into a conventional tub/shower combo. The pillows weren't too fluffy and you definitely needed 2 together, but a lot of places are that way. I usually bring my own pillow but forgot to this time.

There were signs everywhere saying that the rooms were nonsmoking, but the room smelled so strongly of smoke. The lights didn’t work. The carpet was so filthy and torn that I didn’t want to put my one-year-old down. The pillows didn’t even have covers on them. When I went to tell the front desk person, I had to wait ten minutes until someone bothered to show up to talk to me. When I told them what was going on, they shrugged and didn’t say anything. So we left. We have called for days to get a refund, and they kept saying their manager wasn’t around. And then when I finally got a hold of a manager, they denied the refund. Once again, I have never left a bad review for a hotel in my life. I have traveled a TON all over the world. This was the worst experience I’ve had. Please don’t discount the negative reviews like I did. It’s not even that cheap compared to other nearby hotels with MUCH better standards. Stay somewhere else.

The staff made the experience even better than it may have otherwise been. Room was clean though the love seat did have questionable stains and should be replaced. It was quiet, breakfast had plenty of options (hot and cold). Room size was good though the coffee table was dated. The indoor heated pool did seem popular though i didn't visit it. Overall, I would recommend.

I booked a 2 day reservation through *********** for a NON Smoking room - The online photos suggested a clean and well-presented room. I arrived at reception, checked in, and received my key card. Upon entering the room my feet stuck to the room, the room was dirty and there was a very bad stale smell of smoke. I went back to reception and complained. They provided my with the keys for 2 other rooms, which I viewed. Both rooms also smelt badly of stale smoke. See attached pictures which shows smoke alarms covered with plastic bags to prevent activation, signs of possible vermin chewing the furniture. Air-conditioning which is unsafe and hanging off the wall, damaged furniture….. The photos tell all. Needless to say I told the reception I was not prepared to stay in their property and they promised a refund without penalty… The case goes on, no refund received, hotel do not take my calls, basically saying I need to speak with ***********, *********** have sent numerous emails and have yet to receive a reply In short, NON Smoking rooms and not NON smoking, the hotel is absolutely appalling filthy dirty

This hotel is fairly decent and from what I experienced the man who I waited for then had to go and get seemed nice however, try not to need anything because getting someone is like a lottery. You have to wait or search for help and that cheapens the stay. I understand guests may need help and you have to leave the desk however, come back guests want to check in and others may need help also. I had a corrosive coffee maker and took it down in exchange for another one never got it called the next morning to speak with the manager hoping she would locate one for me but she claimed to be busy and never returned the call or made the effort nonetheless, my room was clean and other than housekeeping, manager Rachel and the front desk staff are off escaping duties, my opinion but it spoke for itself. Seems to me if they are so busy doing their jobs guests needs should be met and that big bag of trash sitting in the hallway for over a day should’ve been removed and not a fixture next to the elevator. Also since they have so much of a need to be away from the desk seems to me they would invest in a cordless phone which only proves my point they don’t want to be bothered. Best advice always be mindful when on a job that your being paid for because you never knows who’s watching.
