The Manor hotel is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful building and beautiful inside and beautiful surroundings. We only stayed for 1 night with our friends and had a great time. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast and dinner were good and the staff was very friendly.

Really enjoyed my stay at The Moorland Hotel. The room was great with really good facilities and a fab view! Dinner was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to be kind and helpful. Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Will definitely be staying again.

We found the hotel to be excellent in all aspects. We arrived fairly late (10pm) but were able to get a bottle of wine to enjoy in the very comfortable lounge area. The hotel is very spacious and well appointed. The gardens are beautiful and our breakfast was very tasty. Although the hotel was busy (as evidenced from breakfast) it was also very quiet and peaceful. All around a fantastic option for anyone looking for a hotel in the area and excellent value.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was really good and the hotel location just a short (uphill) walk to haytor made it pefect for us to explore the moors.

We only stayed one night and wish we had stayed longer. The hotel was really nice and in a beautiful setting. Room and hotel were spotlessly clean. Very nice breakfast. Went to Widecombe on the moor in the evening and drove back with the most amazing sunset.
