We were booked for a stay at Eagle View. We booked directly through their website. Their cancellation policy is 24 hours. My wife broke her ankle and notified them that we were cancelling (she did this 10 days ahead of time). We received a call asking when we would be arriving - to which I explained "my wife cancelled". They said "no she didn't" (yet they did receive her email 10 days earlier). We tried to follow up with several emails - absolutely no response. Went silent on us. Very frustrating. We are disputing the charge on our credit card which will be no issue as we have all the supporting documentation necessary. Very disappointing and frustrating dealing with Eagle View.

Arrived at this guest house when walking the East Highland Way. Greeted with a very warm welcome and shown about the guest house. Rooms were perfect with a great showering facility. Breakfast in the morning was incredible! A great selection that I wasn’t expecting. My friend took unwell through the night and the lady was quick to offer to deliver room service for him to try help him - Thank you. Definitely worth a stay here if visiting the area, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a cute B&B on a beautiful property, in a very safe, nice little town. The owner is very friendly. The rooms are a nice size and are very private, but the bed was hard, and the room a little over cluttered. Walls are thin, so you’ll most likely hear your neighbours in other rooms. We had a bath with a hose, no proper shower which was a little inconvenient. Breakfast was very nice.

Nette kamer alleen hadden wij de kamer met het kleinste bed. Verder prima verzorgd met nette aankleding. Ontbijt was prima en voldoende met aandacht voor persoonlijke wensen. Gastvrouw vriendelijk. Leuke ruimte om als gast even lekker te zitten. Wifi werkt prima, verbinding met internet niet echt stabiel.

Great welcome. (And concern that we should book somewhere to eat at night as there isn’t a great deal of choice in the wee village. We had - so all was well.) Sparklingly clean room and bathroom. Superb breakfast. Wonderful selection of fresh and cooked food for breakfast. High quality bacon. Excellent golden yellow scrambled eggs with fresh spinach.

Moira is an excellent hostess. She has decorated the house beautifully. The bed was comfortable. The claw foot bathtub was a treat. We loved the breakfast options. Loved our visit.

We successfully walked the Speyside Way in June which now starts/finishes in Newtonmore and needed accommodation for the first and last days of the walk. Eagle View is a short walk along the high street from the finishing point. The owners were very helpful and obliging allowing us to leave our car there for the days in between. Eagle View is also only a 5 minute walk to Newtonmore railway station. The room was nice with a comfy bed and a lovely ensuite. The breakfast was gorgeous! We wouldn't hesitate to stay again or to recommend to others!!

L’accueil très chaleureux. Le calme était très appréciable. La chambre était très confortable et décorée avec goût. Du thé, café, petits gâteaux fait maison était mis à disposition. Excellent petit déjeuner : très copieux et beaucoup de choix. L’emplacement est proche de beaucoup de promenades/randonnées. Parking disponible sur place. Station service en face.
