This is an excellent place to stay. The room, the setting, the staff, all excellent. Would definitely stay here again. The only minor complaint is the all day music around the pool and it would be nice to have a heated pool at this time of the year. Just a bit too cool.

Still a few teething problems. No hot water, then no water, then the shower drain blocked and flooded the entire bathroom. Weird configuration. Bed upstairs, bathroom and wardrobe downstairs. Tiny kitchen. Pool water was freezing. Tapas bar still not open. Expected better for the price. Elaine at reception is fabulous.

We booked a spa day for my wife and I at the beautiful ocean escape. We both had massages which were so good we came back for a second round. Before and after our treatments we chilled by the pool. All of the staff that we encountered were warm and friendly. Thank you for 2 great days

What a wonderful experience we had at this resort. The accommodations were perfect. The details that were put into the design and development of this property were amazing. Would highly recommend!

WOW !! what a stunning place, walking through the front door to be greeted by smiling, friendly staff was amazing then a few steps more and you enter paradise, salt water pool, and sun loungers. Our unit was 10/10 for cleanliness, layout, etc. The kitchen and fridge are well stocked with the essentials. We were almost on the beach, with beautiful ocean views. Shame the weather didn't play the game but it didn't stop us from having a peaceful relaxing holiday. Nothing was an effort for staff and owners. we will be back and recommending Ocean Escape to our family and friends Thank you Barry and Jade.

I actually struggle writing this review. I would prefer to keep this place our secret but the resort truly deserves a great review. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. I believe Barry (the owner) told me that he and his wife have traveled extensively and made note of all the things they think could have done better and incorporated that in their resort. It shows!! They make you feel like family and so welcome. We stayed at 5 resorts in Roratonga in April 2024 and Ocean Escapes was by far our favorite. We have already booked our next visit and would highly recommend this resort to adult couples, honeymooners and anyone over 16. The only negative is the beach is not ideal for water activities but there are so many public beaches on the Island it was not an issue for us. The plus side to that is no one else uses the beach!

A lovely, restful stay. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. Rooms are great and the pool and other facilities are lovely. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed three nights in this new resort on the beach. We had villa no2 which overlooks the beach. Extremely large two story and fantastically equiped. Just like your own house. Everything spotless. Massive bed. Just one thing could do with a table in main room for dinner etc instead of a small sit up bar. Bus stops outside door, convenience store 150 m down the road. Also Villis Burger joint. Great cheap burgers and Pizzas

This was my first time visiting Rarotonga and my accomodation area was amazing. It has gorgeous features and a warm aura. The people here welcomed me with warm smiles.
If I was to stay in Rarotonga again I would definitely come back to ocean escape resort & spa
