Overall pretty good. It's a relatively good hotel in Rarotonga, but the rooms are a bit old. The breakfast food in the restaurant is pretty good, and there are many water sports right next door.

We recently had a 6 night stay in a garden suite. The resort is welcoming and peaceful. Staff are attentive and go out of their way to greet guests and ensure you have a pleasant stay. Loved that Muri Lagoon was right out from the bar and restaurant. The Muri Beach night markets and Te Vara Nui Village Island dinner and show are walking distance from the resort. The island bus stop is right out front and Avis has scooters and car rental at the resort's entrance. There is also a well stocked supermarket and ATM just up the road.

Pacific Resort is quite a large resort suitable for couples, friends and families. Located right on the Muri lagoon and easy to walk to shops other resorts etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food and the service is really good. However the restaurant and Barefoot bar are not quite large enough for the number of guests and you cannot always get a table, my husband and I need comfy chairs and the bar seats are not very suitable for older guests. That said the bar staff are very efficient and make sure that your glass is always full. Swimming pool is gorgeous and the beach and shoreline is right on the lagoon and safe for swimming. Our room was lovely and had a lovely view from the balcony. Good facilities for making your own drinks and lunches if wanted. The lighting in the room was high on the ceiling and too bright and I needed a bedside light for reading, but when I asked for one, they brought me one straight away which was great. Lovely safe resort for children but no actual live entertainment, only music. Nice atmosphere and would I come again, the answer is yes.

Beachfront Room was beautiful. We had 2 nights at the Pacific Resort. For the price you pay we would have loved some bar treats available to eat or some fresh fruit in the room. The room was tastefully furnished and the King Bed super comfy. Snorkelling out front of hotel was great too. Had a beautiful sunrise on one of our mornings there. Stunning

Accomodation was very good. We chose the beachfront bungalows which gave us a bigger room and privacy. Rooms were clean and staff very friendly. Great location on Muri Beach and near the markets. The resort provided good waters sports equipment

This was as stress-free as you could possibly get on a vacation. The resort staff were very friendly and willing to share information and stories. Rooms exceptionally clean and well maintained. The grounds and beach overlooking the Muri Lagoon absolutely beautiful. This was a last minute trip for us and the booking through Costco made this easy. Will definitely be on our list of places to visit again.

Its been a few years since we've managed to visit this gem of a resort on the spectacular Muri Lagoon. We noticed how genuinely happy ALL of the staff were and this was reflected in their service, which couldn't be faulted. Every single person, from housekeeping, garden, maintenance, restaurant, bar and reception, was exceptional. The room was spotless, the facilities are all in great condition and the food has become very, very good. It's a gentle place and very Cook Islands. Just beautiful.

Friendly staff, neat venue, good amenities. Location gives alternatives to meals and activities, on the expensive side though. The lagoon is easily accessed via the SUP's and Kayak's available at the resort, flippers, booties et al also available. If you have to check out at 1000 but are only leaving that night facilities for the day are OK but not brilliant.
