In the end, I really liked the hotel. It was very cool, despite the bad situation upon check-in, more on that at the end of the review. The room is bright and cozy. Panoramic windows on the entire wall. The “sea view” turned out to be actually a “city view”; the sea was visible only from the edge. Considering the 19th floor, the view of the city from the panoramic windows was also impressive. The room has a slightly strange layout, especially the separation of the shower from the bathroom and from the work area (and the bath itself is not separated from the room at all, it’s just in the corner), but we found it comfortable and cozy. It had personality, not the usual isolated pretentiousness. They practically did it with the TV - they put it on the counter in front of the bed. So that there is a panoramic view and you can watch TV.
The bed, furniture, appliances, plumbing, air conditioning, etc. seemed to be in order, but we are not picky about this, we don’t look for scratches on the furniture and stains on the carpet, like some in the reviews. They take a deposit of 100 dollars or a passport, but this is the case everywhere, in 3 other hotels in Nha Trang it was the same.
And now a negative story about check-in - Tripcom listed the 20th floor for this room. They immediately tried to place us on the 10th. The view on the 10th was so-so, as it is still a view of the city. This was fundamental. We started to figure it out and call support. The hotel staff said that you booked this room. Trip support said they were trying to figure it out. It turned out that this was a trip error, they indicated the floor incorrectly, and offered compensation of 2800 rubles. This didn’t suit me, because the view from the room was fundamentally important. He continued to argue with the administration, while simultaneously trying to get more out of the trip. As a result, the hotel offered the 19th floor, which suited us. They said that for our sake they would change the number of some other client. It's a shame they didn't offer this right away, they wouldn't have wasted 3 hours on suitcases in the lobby. In short, the staff was polite and seemed to be trying to help, but they also seemed to be being cunning. I think they offered us this number just to close the situation with tourists who sit in the lobby with suitcases for 3 hours, call someone, go around arguing. But on the other hand, they could not offer anything at all, since this is not their mistake. For this situation, after 2 days I got about 6,000 rubles in compensation with bonuses from Trip, which was also fine. But I also had to contact support and pull them. But in the end I liked the hotel and the room, it was worth the 3 hours of nerves spent :)
