Tennen Onsen Taho-No-Yu Dormy Inn Niigata Reviews

There is a distance from JR station. The service is good but the room itself is not sound isolated, I can hear the people nearby keep moving the chair and their luggage during mid night or early morning. It is not able for me to take good rest.

The hotel is a short walk from the train station. It was quite a walk to the sightseeing spots so we had to go to the station to catch a loop bus. The hotel was clean and has nice onsen. It's convenient that Dormy Inn provides drinks or even noodles and icecreams. The rooms are not big though.

Service is good and the amenities perfect

There is no bathroom in the single room, only a toilet and sink, but the large bath is great for soaking in hot springs. Towels will be changed every day and a small bottle of water will be provided, as well as strawberry jelly on the first day. From 9:30 to 11:00 in the evening, half portions of free ramen are provided. Go directly to the restaurant on the second floor and you will be given a number plate to pick up your meal. You need to bring a card to use the large bath. After soaking, there are free popsicles outside, and you can also buy milk at your own expense. A bottle is 130 yen. The breakfast is also above the standard, with free fried shrimp and fried pork chops. The overall experience is pretty good!

It's an old hotel, but the hygiene and maintenance are pretty good. You can take a bath in the hot springs, and there's free ramen for late-night snacks. The price is reasonable, and it's very cost-effective. I can recommend it.

The delicious breakfast and sauna were amazing.

I have stayed at many Kyoritsu Group hotels, and this dormy Inn is the worst. Location: Not close to the station, it takes 20 minutes to walk. Front desk service: The hotel's on-duty staff is young and inexperienced. It rained heavily before I checked in that day, so I arrived at the hotel in a panic. The staff didn't show any concern when they saw this, and the check-in process was not smooth.  The floors are hollow and the outside is ventilated. It was winter when I checked in, so it was very cold. As for the room, there was a big old smell at the door. The toilet and bathroom were even more outrageous, and there was a smell like a public toilet. This is the smell I smelled when I stayed in a Japanese hotel for the first time. Wi-Fi is super slow and disconnects frequently.  What I like most is that the open-air hot spring on the top floor is so comfortable. The quality of other ice cream bars, Yemu ramen and other items are all the same as usual. There is nothing to say.  Wouldn't consider staying again. 

I stayed here because there were no hotels with hot springs. I've stayed here before, so I'm a repeat customer. The breakfast was also delicious.

It was very helpful that we were able to leave our luggage with us before check-in on the day of our stay. The welcome service, late-night snacks, and after-bath care are generous at all Dormy Inn stores, so you'll want to use them again. I will also use it when traveling to different places.

This was my first time at Dormy Inn. The Yonaki Soba was delicious. For breakfast, the Niigata specialties of tarekatsu, noppei soup, and nanban shrimp miso soup were all delicious. The bath was also very good. When I travel again, I'd like to stay at a Dormy Inn and eat delicious food from all over the country.

This is the first time I have been asked to pay in advance, and I find this extremely disappointing.

It was my first time at Dormy Inn, and they kindly explained everything to me. The welcome drink was also nice. It would have been better if it was a little closer to the station.

They were very kind and offered me room changes and The response to the earthquake was also great!
