Hotel Sunshine Kinugawa Reviews

The hotel is rather old but well maintained. It is a classic hotel from the 70s-80s (i think) era. The room are large by Japanese standard. The dinner spread is good but breakfast is disappointing. There is a 150yen Onsen tax per person which should be stated in the details eventhough the amount is small.

The river view in room is wonderful All staff are nice and helpful Those foreign staff in restaurant will assist everything spontaneously and even ask me i need any needs to take group photo

The hotel was great and had good food (buffet style) and service. The views of the bridge and kinugawa river across the hotel was nice, and we enjoyed fireworks on Saturday night. It might be better to drive, since the hotel was located about a 10-15 minute walk away from Kinugawaonsen station in a quiet town, and is about 1 hour away by public transport from Tobu-nikko station where many attractions can be accessed.

This hotel has a huge issue for cleaness. The facility is too old and with models in some interior. It will create a problem for certain sensitive people.

Everything are good!

1. It’s very special to experience a Japanese-style room. This time we arranged a 12th floor with a great view. 2. It is recommended to buy breakfast and dinner, there are no stores nearby 3. Because there is no light pollution, you can see the starry sky when the weather is good 4. There are separate bathing pools for men and women, and both men and women can experience it at different times. 5. One night’s stay including buffet dinner + breakfast for 2 people is only $4200, which is a great value. 6. When you go downstairs to eat, you will come in to make the bed, which is really a plus.

It was an experience. Stayed at Phi Dee. The onsen was great. It was close to the Kinugawa tourist attractions.

Facilities: Old, air conditioning is useless. I told the front desk and they provided a fan. Hygiene: The room is ok, but there are a lot of bugs outside, so I dare not open the window. One thing I am not satisfied with is that I have to pay for hot spring bathing even though I am staying in the hotel. Although it is not expensive, 150 yen per person, which is 7 yuan, but why do I have to charge?

The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the station. The hotel goes to the station at 9:00, 9:30, and 10:00 every morning. You need to make an appointment at the front desk one day in advance. Look at your own travel time and arrange the train time reasonably. The original ecological environment is really good. There is a hot spring foot bath on the first floor and a large bathhouse on the second floor. You can take a bath with a bathrobe. There is a suspension bridge behind the lobby. The service staff is good and the English reception is good

The hotel is located slightly away from the JR train station, although the walk is still about 15 minutes. The hotel is located next to the Great Suspension Bridge in Rock Rock. The rooms are comfortable and the terrace already has a beautiful view of the suspension bridge.
