I lost my cell phone and it was subsequently found at a train station some 200 km away. The Hotel front desk staff were helping me with phone calls and translations to try and recover the phone, until suddenly the cooperation stopped. They advised me that the Hotel manager told them not to help me anymore because there was nothing in it for the hotel. It was explained to me that the Hotel wouldn't make any money helping me. No one had asked me to pay for any assistance and even after offering payment the front desk were told to drop the matter. The hotel is pleasant and pretty but overall the rooms are a bit spartan. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The hotel staff, apart from the manager, were friendly and helpful. We would have rated this hotel experience higher were it not for the manager's attitude and policy.
