Very large and comfortable bed with good, related cover - that we enjoyed after nights in other ***hotels only with wool cover over lakens. Prima modern shower!!! , skill and to enjoy, perfectly clean! Rooms are large and have coffee machine (have no breakfast, want to have breakfast in the place). Parking like in every old town is difficult, but helpful would be an indication of which parking house nearby you can best use and direct control. Otherwise very good stay in the hotel, would always like to stay there again. Very satisfied. Recommended!

We reserved two nights at the Royal Hotel in Nimes, France. On the day we checked-in, they charged my credit card for the two nights lodging, but I was not made aware of this. When we checked out, we were given a receipt for the two nights lodging, plus parking fee and tax, which was charged to my credit card. It wasn't until I saw my credit card statement that I realized they double charged for the two nights lodging. I sent them a couple emails about the double charges, but never received a response. Fortunately, my credit card company refunded me the extra charges, and said they would deal with the hotel about the charges. I never heard more about it. The hotel is in a nice location for seeing the sights in Nimes, and the room was fine. Our room overlooked the outdoor restaurant in front of the hotel, but we did not have any noise issues at night. We did not eat there, because they did not offer gluten-free meals, but there were other restaurants in town that did. There is a public underground parking garage with an elevator that come up the street next to the hotel. Over-all, a good stay except for the double charges on the credit card.

Liked · From the moment we arrived at L’Imperator Maison Albar we knew we had chosen the right hotel for our stay in Nimes. This is an EXCEPTIONAL 5-star hotel and has truly set the benchmark for luxury and hospitality. Every detail of our stay was meticulously catered to, making it a very memorable experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a very warm welcome from GM Romaric Blanvillain. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and we were shown around the beautiful facilities and on to our room by the charming Rievelinio. The hotel combines class, elegance and warmth, with beautiful interior decor and clever use of space and architecture. The pool is heavenly - in fact there are two pools to choose from, an indoor pool next to the spa and an outdoor pool with plenty of sun loungers and peace and quiet. By the pool we were looked after by Quentin with an impressive level of courtesy and efficiency. Breakfast was wonderful (thanks to Natalie and Romane) and served in a calm setting, with the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. What truly sets L’Imperator apart is the exceptional service provided by the team and the way they make guests feel. Many hotels try to be hospitable because that is their job, they are ‘paid to smile’, but the Albar staff are happy to be there and show genuine care for each guest- even remembering guests names when greeting them. Special mention to the Hero’s Pierre and Benjamin, who both went above and beyond in their assistance and care. And the exceptional Fabien (so speedy) Tristan and Frederic, Kaoutar, Doriane, Karla, Clara, Maxime, Imrane, Sabah and Claire. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly exceptional stay. We have already re-booked to stay again…we love Nimes and we will come back to stay at L’Imperator.

The hotel is ideally placed to see the fabulous sites in Nimes. Situated about 10 minutes walk from the major tourist attractions (or there are frequent buses) , the hotel offers comfortable accommodation, friendly staff and suitable parking even for taller vehicles. There are plenty of restaurants close by to choose from.

L’hôtel est situé à l’extérieur de la vielle à environ 3 km du centre ville, il faut donc être véhiculée pour se rendre au centre ville , le personnel est agréable très sympas , dans l’ensemble ça été , je note juste que la carafe d’eau n’a pas été rempli malgré que j’en ai fais la demande et la chambre n’a pas été faite à notre retour que lorsque je l’ai demandé , ça c’était pénible , retour de sortie et trouver que le ménage n’a pas été fait il était tout de même 16h00, la chambre, la salle de bain parfait , la vue laisse à désirer , les installation bien sauf que la piscine était froide mais vraiment froide ! Malheureusement c’est pour cette raison que j’ai donné 4 au lieu de 5

Fabulous location and lovely room. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. We have a small dog, who was welcome. Parking right across the street. We will come back. Uzes is a great village with many restaurants and shops, perfect for walking.
