Xiongzhen should be an old hotel, and its facilities should be good, but it lacks necessary maintenance and inspection. I checked in late last night, but I didn't care. I took a shower and went to bed. I still found many problems. First, the air conditioner did not have hot air or insufficient heat. Second, the lights and ventilators in the bathroom were broken, and only one shower room had a light. Third, when I had breakfast at 8 o'clock, many basins were empty and not replenished. The details are still not done well.
The only thing is that the location is very good, close to the Yongjiang River, it is good to take a walk by the river, there are many shops nearby, and it is not far to take the subway.
Pay attention to detail improvement, the hotel is still OK.

I am very satisfied with my stay. I haven't stayed at Home Inn for a long time. This time I feel completely refreshed. First, Mr. Shao, the front desk clerk, is very amiable and responsive. Due to the problem of time, we asked if we could extend it to 2 pm for free? We got an affirmative answer right away, and we were very touched. Second, the room is very clean, simple and crisp. In budget hotels, it is very competitive.
Third, a special thanks to the other staff at the front desk who made us feel ”home”.
Next time I come to Xiaogang, I will choose the cheap and high-quality ”Home Inns”

AalnuaimiThe best hotel that I stayed at on my trip.very creative lobby with top design , location very good near a huge mall wanda plaza and can access all Ningbo tourist areas. The hotel team is very corporate and takes care of all details and , rooms will have equipment and big space and very nicely designed specially the bathroom. My family likes this hotel and plan to stay again.

- Location : Prime location , close to major shopping and dining
- Transport access : Though it’s right on yaohang st., but car does not reach the hotel. You need to drop on the main road or in front of Westing and Walk to the hotel.
- Breakfast : A wide selection of local and international food options.
- Rooms : Very spacious and comfortable rooms .
- Amenities : All standard amenities are provided.
- Extra perks : Best in town - They offer you wash and iron of your laundry at zero cost.
The hotel also offers some bean soup desert in the evening and goody bags with water bottle , tissues and wet wipes .
The staffs goes extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction which offsets the few short Cummings. . I will certainly come back .

NNgaire323Our family, including our two little boys aged 1 and 2, had a lovely break from Ningbo in the mountains at this hotels. The surrounding scenery is peaceful and beautiful and the outdoor pool is fantastic - very large, clean and good for kids. Our room was spacious (though it probably needed a deep clean a little more often - under the bed was a bit dusty!) Overall the hotel is a great place for a short break with young kids. Some areas could do with a facelift (i.e. the shop by reception is empty and has boxes sacked in it) but kids don’t mind this and what they do love is at the hotel - a pool, balance bike riding area, soft play center and an evening petting farm (which was very well done!)

GGuest UserOn the day of our check-in, the hotel called in advance to confirm the approximate arrival time. They turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance, put out welcome fruits and welcome meals. The service attitude was very good, and there were desserts in the evening.
I booked a twin-bed sea view room with a balcony. The view from the balcony is very good. The room is relatively quiet and the equipment is very complete! We can see the sea view, but it's a pity that it's a bit cloudy. We will stay here next time we come!

The scenery of the hotel is very good, but the sound of cars is relatively noisy in the good places, but the places behind are much quieter. The location of the hotel is very advantageous, and there is a parking lot. There is a Japanese restaurant upstairs. The ingredients used are very fresh. Go to the Old Bund at night, and there is also the Catholic church. It is really beautiful. The breakfast of the hotel is considered to be better for this price. There is also a better fully automatic coffee machine. But I don’t know why, your beans are really hard to drink. It feels too bitter. I hope the hotel can improve this. Otherwise, it is not worthy of this machine. The service of the lady at the front desk is very good. She answers all questions. I hope this price can be maintained continuously. The mattress is very soft. The support is also good. The shower in the toilet has a top spray. It is much more comfortable than the top spray of Hanting Youjia.

AAugust MI recently stayed at a hotel in Ningbo, China, which had a super location close to Ningbo Railway Station. The hotel's proximity to the station made it convenient for transportation. However, there were a few aspects of my stay that could have been better.
The location of the hotel was indeed excellent, with easy access to the railway station. This made it convenient for exploring the city and accessing transportation options . The hotel's proximity to shopping streets and attractions added to its appeal.
Regarding the food, I would described as ”okay” . It seems that there were various dining options available, but the experience may have varied depending on the specific choices made.
One aspect that could be improved is the English proficiency of the reception staff. According to the search results, the staff's ability to communicate in basic English was limited . This could pose a challenge for non-Chinese guests who require assistance or have specific inquiries.
During my two-night stay, I also noticed a strong smell of cigarettes in the room. This could be a concern for those who are sensitive to smoke or prefer smoke-free environments.
Overall, the hotel's super location near Ningbo Railway Station was a major advantage. However, it is important to note the potential language barrier with the reception staff and the presence of a cigarette smell. These factors may be worth considering when choosing accommodations in Ningbo

DDan R-LTruly stunning. A warm welcome with amenities and extras all explained. Booked a spa treatment and dinner from the front desk.
The lake facing room had the best view I've ever had from a hotel. A shuttle service to take us to the spa village. The spa treatments were in a cute massage house with excellent service.
Dinner was at the fish restaurant which had a variety of reccomended dishes as well as meat or veg options. This allowed for a nice walk back in the evening going around the grounds.
Good facilities with a lovely indoor pool and a games room.
Breakfast had a huge amount of choice that was constantly being refilled. One downside was children running around with whistles blaring but that is down to poor parenting not the hotel. Nice again to walk around the grounds after breakfast.
The room had a comfy bed and huge windows to show the view. A very nice bath too but it would've been improved by including some bath salts or bath lotion.
Downsides - the air conditioning in the room wouldn't drop below 24°, fapiaos were a little complicated and not exactly how we wanted it, the shuttle buggys could be slow to arrive and the drivers could dissappear and you would wait for 10 minutes with no driver. The 'Red bar' was also closed so no where to go for a quiet drink.
Overall I would give and 4 3/4 stars out of 5

MMattia MianiSure, it is a stunning resort and overall we enjoyed the experience. However it is far from perfect. A few issues to consider:
1) I booked a deluxe room and relying on the picture I was expecting a sofa bed on the balcony. There was no sofa bed! Bummer.
2) The bathtub is quite small, mostly for one person.
3) The guest rooms feel/are quite distant from the lake. The view is so so.
4) The resort is not really on the lake, there is a road separating it from the lake. so no rooms or villa really on the lake.
5) They mention a shuttle bus to nearby Hanling old street, but it was only running every 2 hours and needed booking... a bit complicated for a 4 minute ride.
6) The main building with the lobby has very limited facilities. Just a small deck for outdoor dining.
Overall ok, recommend to book on a weekday when the price is cheaper. I give 5 for service because it was a busy weekend and personnel was all very professional and efficient, but I did not experience anything exceptional. I tried the high end Chinese restaurant that was good and also the breakfast in line with a 5 star hotel.

EErnst NZThis is an interesting place as it’s old, contemporary style of an area past, dim lights everywhere, traditional wooden panels alongside huge heigh ceilings. It brings back a time of glamour, reminded me of the Titanic in its former glory. Yet the rooms are crammed, I hit my foot twice on the floor bed corner. The staff are friendly and helpful, english is spoken at reception. Would i stay here again? Probably not, as the darkness of the room, ( windows do open slightly) felt depressing. However great location, cross the river and you are in the mids of the city. Ernst , New Zealand
