The location was Lijiang, Yunnan, and I only chose two attractions: Lijiang Ancient Town and Lugu Lake. The goal was very clear. After a day of sightseeing and shooting in Lijiang Ancient Town, I found a hotel with slightly better conditions in Lugu Lake to lie down for three days. I searched for Lugu Lake hotel recommendations on Xiaohongshu, and searched for the top hotels on Ctrip one by one. I mainly focused on the comfort, quietness, and view of the room. In the end, I chose Qie Man. The actual situation really made me experience. When I first entered the Lugu Lake scenic area, I was a little disappointed by the overly ordinary scenery. However, at this time, I received a call from the hotel’s male butler. The voice was very low. The butler drove to pick us up. On the way, he introduced the situation around the hotel. He also asked about our itinerary, food preferences, etc. After arriving at the hotel, he also changed us to a king-size bed room on a higher floor. The price was more expensive than what I booked, which was indeed a bit embarrassing. The style of the hotel is a bit like Indian, or Latin American style. I don't really understand it. It's really the first time I've stayed in a hotel of this style. The room is very large, and you can see the whole view of Lugu Lake from the balcony. The facilities in the house are complete, and there are even indoor tea sets, Harman Kardon speakers, etc. The third floor of the hotel is a restaurant, and you can see the piano on Ctrip. What amazed me most was that in the early morning, standing on the balcony, I saw the morning light on the lake, and occasionally saw one or two wooden boats passing by. It really looked like a painting. Someone on the wooden boat sprinkled bird food to attract seagulls, and the seagulls flew around the wooden boat. It was so beautiful in the sun. They give 5 free original photos and you can add on for edited ones. Every staff always answer our questions sincerely and go the extra mile for every small request we make. Special shout-out to our butler，二车， who came over specially to check in on us when he heard from housekeeping that we are checking out earlier due to change in our plans and also made arrangements to serve our breakfast earlier as we have an early itinerary. The rooms are nice, and we face the lake directly. The room also gave eye masks, face masks and they even have a hair straightener in the room. Toilet comes w bidet as well.

After arriving at the property, I realised it was worth having a lake view room, so I upgraded to the Double Bed with Lake View and bathtub. The room is huge and the view of the lake from the windows is spectacular. It was amazing to just sit by the window and enjoy the view and the breeze. In the morning I watched the sunrise through the window. The hotel has excellent service. The two young men at reception were very kind, helpful and gentlemanly. They insisted on carrying my small bag up to the third floor and happily resolved all my queries. The cleanliness was not bad, but there were a few strands of hair around the room. Otherwise it was clean. There were lots of amenities, the bed was extremely comfortable and the rain shower was perfect. Downstairs, you could step directly onto the lake, and the property has two very cute cats. The Lake View Double Room came with an in room afterboon tea (very much needed after the long journey to reach Lugu Lake) and a healthy Chinese style breafast. All up, an extremely comfortable stay and one of the highlights of my trip to China.
