We had one of our best hotel stays ever here (August 2022, sorry for the late review). It started when we booked the room in the wrong month. Fortunately, there was still a room available when we arrived and the owner was totally forthcoming and changed our booking immediately, offering us even an upgraded room for the same price. The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are very clean, the breakfast is homemade and of high quality. When we wanted to hire a scooter, we asked the owner and within ten minutes a scooter was waiting for us. On the day of our departure, we were able to deposit our luggage, shower again in the evening, and then the owner even drove us to the railway station. He refused the tip we wanted to give him. We can recommend a stay 100%, thank you very much for the great time and the exceptional service and hospitality.

It is a little while ago that we visited this beautiful place for three nights. But we love to think back to these days in Ninh Bình. We walked all the way from the Ninh Bình Train station and we was starving and worried about our chance to get dinner due to the fact that it was already late in the evening. But the overwhelming, very friendly welcome at the hotel let passed away our worries. The lovely staff cooked a great vietnamese food for us and the start for the stay couldnt be better. The hotel room, like a own bungalow, was beautiful designed, very clean and comfortable. The whole area was very well maintained with a nice pool, garden and even palmtrees. The both girls who run the hotel during our stay there was remarkable friendly and an awesome example for vietnamese hospitality. They offered us rental bikes, explanations to the destination and even a local healthy plant to eat while my girlfriend had a little flu during our trip. It is such an idyllic, perfect place for exploring the unforgettable landscape of Ninh Bình. We wish all the best for Ninh Bình Rustic Hotel and were very thankful for the amazing time there.

We really liked it here. A beautiful hotel, an aesthetic bar, the view from the window was a little disappointing, towards the swamp, but such a location... the center is coca, where all the cafes are 5 minutes by bike. The staff solved any questions, a very hospitable place!
Free sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast is good. They gave us a nice new bike to rent.

The room (premium deluxe) was absolutely stunning, with a very beautiful scenic view, a very comfortable matress and very clean also. The location is also very good, its convenient to walk and see tam coc and also for the boat trips. The breakfast was good and there is a nice pool to swim. That said, We had a big problem of noise : a new bar opened next door and the noise was umbelievably loud, the staff could’nt tell us what was the closing hour of the bar and wasn’t capable of going and pick the information when we asked several time. They did a discount on the room because we could’nt sleep at all (it was like we were in the bar) so I thank them for that because they tried their best to help us, but in the future I hope that they can make an arrangment on the level of noise with the new bar, otherwhise, clients will not be respected for what they pay…

So much to love about this place. It is spacious and as a solo traveller you can spend time either with yourself or with others. Bikes are available and you are smack bang near all the offerings of Trang An. The family are sweet and there was the added bonus of three new born puppies to play with. The rooms are incredibly clean and beds so comfortable. A bed net will keep the odd mosquito away and the views, well what can I say but they are stupendous and I'd say probably the best out of the homestays in the area. If you are considering this area then it's likely you are wanting a break from the high tourism areas so this is perfect. Breakfast is simple with enough variation to keep you interested each day and the owners make a mean cocktail for poolside rest.

The room was okay, but the sound insulation effect was poor. It didn't matter if there was no one next door. The balcony was locked and couldn't be accessed. The swimming pool is okay, the indoor heated water is not too cold. The spa closed a little early. I wanted to try it out, but I was out late so I didn't get to experience it. The front desk is a place to take photos and check in, and there are free battery cars in the park. The overall experience is good.

Secluded and charming spot surrounded by the limestone mountains - it had a relaxed eco resort feel and was a great retreat after the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. We stayed for two days with our two young children and spent most of it at the pool, watching the goats clamber around the surrounding rocks, and enjoying the food served at Fairy Mountain's restaurant. There were tours, bikes, etc. available but we just enjoyed staying at the resort. Thuy, our main contact during the stay, made sure we had everything we needed - would definitely come back again!

GGuest UserBrand new property with clean and large rooms, location perfect between Tam Coc and Trang An. You can rent a bike from the hotel and you can go to city or sightseeing fairly easily. Tam Coc is very commercial I prefer Trang an riverside for quiet lunch. Breakfast is homemade and very delicious, staff is super nice and helpful. I stayed for 5 nights and covered most places in Ninh Binh. This is a hidden gem at a very reasonable price. Great value for money and also a quiet, relaxing stay.

Basically a good value for money hotel. There was a good range of eateries available within a couple of blocks and also lots of stalls selling fresh produce and the bonus of a bus station only 5 mins walk that took us back to Hanoi.

Noise level: PEACEFUL and QUIET! Relaxing, if you want to escape the city noise. It is the countryside after all. You can see water buffalo herds in the fields nearby if you take a walk outside the hotel. I can watch them from my hotel window. Staff and service: AMAZING! So friendly and helpful and honest hardworking staff. Won't cheat or scam. Use google translate if needed. Honestly the staff made our stay so good we extended the stay an extra day. Ask them for local recommendations (they don't get a kickback from any recommendations so its all genuine) Food: RECOMMENDED! Especially for travelers afraid of getting food poisoning or upset stomach from street food. Restaurant quality, home-cooked/cooked-to-order meal. Clean kitchen facility. Good prices, cheap. Made with love, the manager herself cooked a lot of the meals for us and they were delicious (for reference, im vietnamese-american so in my humble opinion, the authenticity is excellent and pleasing to a western palate as well. Personal Recommendation: Want a nice dinner thats still authentic? Order your food and eat outdoors in the cool of the evening, try the barbeque-it-yourself beef and goat. Delicious, hand-marinated quality beef cuts and goat, and they give you a little tabletop BBQ pit for you to bbq your meat just how you like it. Order some side dishes and its a great and fun family meal. If you want to and the staff aren't busy, they can bbq it for you if you want, but I think its fun to do it yourself. The location is out in the countryside but don't be alarmed because the hotel is a short drive from the main city center and tourist spots. The bad: - The beer is warm lol. They should refrigerate it. - Tip: if you ask for ”wine”, note that its vietnamese hard liquor, not the western understanding of wine (grapes). - There's a stupid rooster nearby from one of the local farms and it likes to crow all day. If you stay in the downstairs rooms you might be able to hear it, but if you stay in the upper floors you can't hear it. Would stay again.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, brings a pleasant feeling. Staff are extremely enthusiastic and ready to assist guests. The rooms are bright and airy. The room price is quite good, in line with the quality.

GGuest UserThe hotel is near the new town near the train and bus stations. Useful when going back and forth using either. It's not along the river, which is the highlight of Ninh Binh, so you can't see the scenery when you wake up in the morning. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, but I was surprised that the electricity, which had been fine at night, didn't turn on when I woke up in the morning. (I had it fixed while I was eating breakfast.) However, as is the case with Ninh Binh, the road is so wide that it's quite a long way to go. There was a nice cafe in a small residential area behind the bus stop.

BBifa31Je n'ai pas résidé à l'hôtel, seulement été en pleine nuit à l'improviste en sortant de la gare pour louer une moto. Pour de supers tarifs (à peine 3-4€ par jour je crois) j'ai eu un super scoot, automatique, assez puissant, et qui m'a bien permis de me balader dans cette région incroyable !
