Hotel is a bit far from ski area (10-15 mins walk) especially when it’s snowing and freezing. Shuttle bus only available every 30-60mins. Transportation around town and from Kutchan is not easy. Room is spacious and functional but not pleasant to stay. Bed frame is light and easy to move. Pillow is too soft.

Next to the ski lift, easy to go out and go in at your own pace. Bit crowded during day time after 10 am. It helps a lot with a locker provided for each guest to keep the equipment. The room was spacious and comfortable, perhaps the hotel to improve on the timing for room cleaning service, especially for guests staying more than a week and expecting the room to be clean when we are out. The hotel has its own mini-mart, which help you to get some junk food and accessory for skier/snowboarder - a bit pricey but it's expected in the Niseko area anyway. The other downside is the hotel location is far from other convenience stores and restaurants (affordable where u can easily access in Hirafu) so it makes you book a room with breakfast and dinner.

I stayed in a plan with two meals, breakfast and dinner, in a larger room than usual. Originally the building of the hotel was quite old, but the room was well cleaned and I didn't feel uncomfortable. However, the bath and toilet in the room are a small unit bath, so it was a little difficult to use. For dinner, we didn't use high-end ingredients, but the adult meal was very delicious as it was properly prepared. However, it was disappointing that children's meals seemed to be ready-made frozen foods such as American dogs, hamburgers, and omelets. Since it's an affiliated inn of Bikkuri Donkey, I wanted something as delicious as a hamburger. The breakfast was extremely satisfying with a tremendous number of items and volume. I think it's worth staying just to eat this breakfast. Needless to say, the hot spring is a natural hot spring without any heating and water disinfection, and the open-air bath is also the best because it is managed at an appropriate temperature. This time, there were few visitors for a day trip, so I was able to enjoy it in a chartered state. From now on, I want you to continue to do business as it is now.

The room that renewed the main building, the chef recommended Iroha I stayed for one night at Zen! This Onsen hotel is 100 points full points perfect. Attention to detail in every single way. Great location, 5mins drive from Annupuri ski resort. Hotel has the amazing forest view, offer free parking. Hotel is shoes free, all guests will require to take off shoes when enter hotel. All staff are friendly and helpful. They will make 100% effort. Hotel offered ski lesson and rental very convenient. Hotel has outdoor public bath and spa treatment. Free lounge has wine, champagne, tea, juice and snacks to guests. The set breakfast and hotel dinner is world class quality. Hotel rooms are very spacious! Noted room will supply plenty of bottle of water and some snack for guests. I can't wait to come back and stay longer for next time! Will recommended to anyone and everyone! Konbu Onsen your service really touch my heart. We are very grateful to stay in such wonderful hotel. My family and I stayed at Setsu for 8 nights in January 2024. We shared a one bedroom suite which worked perfectly for a family of four. The amenities in the room were excellent, having a washer and dryer in the room was very helpful. The room alone gets five stars. The location of the hotel is ok. It was handy having Lawsons across the road and food trucks and restaurants nearby (though sidewalks were pretty icy and not great to walk on at night). The ramen restaurant in the hotel is great, the food is tasty and its relatively affordable. The hotel could do with another lower cost food option as there was normally a long queue to get in. We ate at Luke's in the hotel one night. The service was excellent. But it was way over-priced. Some fried fish, a side of chips and a burger cost about $A180. The burger was good and given the location I didn't mind paying $A50 for it, but the fish at $A95 was pretty ordinary (oily and very salty). The cheapest bottle of wine was $A200. Breakfast was ok but not great - some freshly cooked egg options would have been nice. The snow was great - but a couple of days the top slopes were closed due to wind. This meant the queues down the bottom were very long. The ski school was a good way to jump the queues - but worth being aware that only Go Snow gets this at grand hirafu - rhythm doesn't get to jump any queues, and NISS at Hanazano only. The shuttle bus to the slopes was ok. We never had to wait too long but it was a bit awkward having to take skis onboard the bus. There is also a walk up to the gondola from the bus stop - its pretty short normally, but can take 20 minutes if the gondola queue is long. By contrast the Park Hyatt has a quick ski down to the Hanazano lifts which looked like a much easier way to get going - though there isn't much around apart from the hotel. Overall it feels like the volume of people at Niseko has over-stretched the other infrastructure. So not sure if we'd go back.

We had a lovely ski holiday staying at One Niseko Towers. Here is what we thought about the hotel. 1) Good access to both Moiwa and Annupuri resorts Moiwa is walking distance away (walk to – ski back) and there are regular free shuttle bus services to Annupuri. I would say it is a little bit far to Hirafu and as someone else said, the shuttle bus to Hirafu gets you in a bit late. We have trouble choosing which of the resorts are our favourite: Moiwa is so quiet it is almost like a private resort while Annupuri has wide sweeping pistes and the adorable Paradise Hut café! 2) Rooms were large and well equipped Four of us stayed in an apartment style room. By Japanese standards it is huge! The beds were comfortable (according to my husband, who is very fussy about mattresses and pillows) and there is a kitchenette for cooking simple dinners. It is a Japanese style kitchen so there is no oven but a good hob and gigantic fridge. Pretty fast Wifi in the rooms too. They will properly clean your room once during a week with daily cleaning being minimal (bed making, towel changes and rubbish removal) though this was not an issue for us as we spent most of the day outdoors. The rooms were quiet too and we were lucky enough to get a 10th floor room with beautiful views over the forests. 3) Onsen baths for soothing the aching muscles The onsen is one of the best features in our family's opinion! Some family members would visit twice a day…. There is a men's and a women's onsen which both have indoor and outdoor baths. It is really nice sitting outside in a hot bath while looking at the snow. I would add that the onsen as well as a lot of the public spaces are decorated in a simple contemporary style. We liked the calming non-fussy stylish look. 4) Good breakfast and Tura We had a package including breakfast. There are choices of Japanese, Western and Chinese breakfast dishes all cooked well. My children would pile their trays high with croissant, miso soup, scrambled egg and fried chicken…? I think I saw reviews commenting on the quality of coffee but we found the espresso on the coffee machine pretty good. It is not artisanal flat white of course but we weren’t in Niseko for the coffee. There are capsule type coffee machines in the rooms too which were very much like nespresso. As someone else said, the Tura restaurant is highly recommended. It is a bit expensive so we only went once during our stay but we very much enjoyed the course menu. The standard of cooking is extremely high. For example, our favourite dishes were crispy pan friend oysters with oyster risotto and grilled Hokkaido pork with a Japanese sauce. When we visited Tura it was empty apart from us. Don’t let this put you off. It will be important to book a table and preferably specify what you will eat in advance so they are ready. This is in a quiet forest about 10 minutes drive from Niseko Station. I think the basic part of the hotel is old, but it has been renewed in a modern style. When you enter the hotel, is it a forest? Check-in was normal due to the scent of. I stayed in a deluxe Japanese-Western style room, but the room was large and spacious, and I slept well on tatami mats. The water of Mt. yotei was delicious. You can walk in a yukata in the hall, and go to the dinner venue Supper was a half buffet, and the contents were sashimi, ceramic plate dishes, meat or fish grilled dishes, and others were buffets. All were usually delicious and there were many types of buffets. At the entrance of the hotel, I enjoyed live performances by piano and violin for about 1 hour and 20 minutes at 19:30 ～. The hot springs smell a little sulfur and usually have an indoor bath, an open-air bath, a sauna, and a cold bath (men and women change at 22:00 at night). Also, the breakfast buffet has a lot of Japanese and Western side dishes and is full. did. Overall, it was a quiet, relaxing, delicious, and comfortable hotel with live performances.

There is absolutely no doubt about the cleanliness of Japanese hotels! I'm a bit of a germaphobe. However, in this hotel, both the restroom and the bathroom made me feel at ease. This hotel is also equipped with drying rooms and changing rooms for guests, making it very friendly to ski enthusiasts! Breakfast is on the first floor. Looking at the big glass windows, admiring the snow scenery and eating Japanese food from Hokkaido, it is really enjoyable. Especially the hotel staff are extremely friendly. When they knew I was having personal difficulties, they didn't hesitate to lend a helping hand and help me solve the problem on a snowy night. In short, this hotel is impeccable in terms of hardware and services.
