Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Norman Near University

Location was great! However, our room was on the first floor and walked in and noticed our door wouldn’t close properly so even if we locked it from the inside you could open the door from the outside with no key! Also the window was broken and wouldn’t lock or shut all the way. Went to the front desk and they changed us to another room.. not very politely might I add. Upon arriving into our second room the room was NASTY! The pictures attached are from the second room. Literally someone’s hair in the “clean” towels. Also they were hand towel size and that is what they give you for bath towels. Went to the front desk to ask for new towels and they said we had to bring our old ones out. So I had to go back to the room and grab the dirty towels to bring them to exchange. Dead bugs and what appeared to be animal stains in the carpet. Not to mention whatever was on the curtains. All in all extremely filthy hotel. If I could leave zero stars I would.

Check in staff was very nice. We didn’t have bath towels in the room & but staff provided when asked, lots of holes in walls & dressers, large hole in bath tub was taped over with electrical tape, corners of room/bathroom had debris, main stairs had visible debris (ie: butter pat sat on stairs for 2 days). We didn’t spend much time at the hotel so it was fine for what it was, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, especially for the price (＞$200/day

Smokers around front door forced us to walk through the smoke.

Getting into the entrance of the hotel was odd. We had to go through the parking lot of an empty, rundown restaurant with big potholes in the driveway.

Staff was friendly, but beds were itchy and they were out of basic stuff like towels . Breakfast items were limited, so if u go 30mts to closing U will be eating scraps. I won’t recommend.

It was very unsanitary. We had reserved a room for four but only got 2 of everything. When we ask for stuff it was 2 didnt even ask if we need more . Of course the only reason we choose this establishment cause it was supposed to have a indoor pool. Or we we would have went somewhere cheaper. But it was hard to get a room at the time fie to parent week at Ou. We were displaced due to a fire. Was treating the kids to a pool tontake there minds off things . Also hotels .com shoukd have known abot this issue by now. Cause reviews going months back thats all it talks about

For a Radisson was not in the shape I expected. Especially for $150 a night. Rooms ran down. Smelled like dirty clothes in our room. They didn’t put any towels the counters are repaired and stained. Breakfast staff looked homeless.

The front desk was top notch he deserves a raise.

It was good overall. The breakfast was somewhat lacking in both choices and quality. The pool was closed for repair. They charged a $50 deposit, which I didn’t know about in advance, and when we checked out, I was told that instead of getting the deposit back right away like every other hotel I have stayed in, I was told the deposit return would take one to two days. With the lack of a pool, very limited breakfast choices and this deceptive practice of not returning the deposit immediately, it is highly doubtful I will stay here again. Way too expensive to have all these issues.
