Loved our 2 night stay at the Nether Abbey. This 12 room hotel is done to perfection. We were a party of four, staying in three different rooms for a golf vacation. Each room was spotless and comfy and of the highest standards.
The morning breakfast is ordered the night before and to be served when you walk into the Music room. Everyone’s breakfast was delicious, and served with a smile. We had dinner one night, and the food, whisky and service was brilliant!
The hotel is perfectly located to shops and restaurants and public transportation. So much to do, only wish was that our stay there was longer.

Great staff. Nice location, very walkable to the High st. and harbor. I became ill during our stay and everyone was beyond helpful. Nice bar and restaurant too, with outdoor area. We were here for local golf and there are a lot of places to play. I would definitely stay here again. N. Berwick is a cute small seaside town.

An excellent place to stay. Welcomed from the initial booking until the check out, the team were attentive and considered when it came to my stay.
The room, as was the rest of the hotel, was clean and had a mixture of modern and more traditional decor, in fitting with the town of North Berwick as a whole.

Fantastic night with friends in the restaurant bar area of the hotel. It was very busy and had a great vibe to it. We only intended to stay for a couple of drinks however the service we experienced from the waitress - Mel - was exemplary and made us want to stay longer. Only one of our group wanted to eat and nearly all the tables were booked. Mel found us a table which we vacated when the other party were due to arrive which was no problem as our food was well finished by then. Mel found us a sitting area and we ordered some more Prosecco. She engaged with customers and nothing was too much trouble. Exactly how hospitality should be. Stirling - Mel is a credit to your team - give that girl a pay rise!!!

From the moment we arrived until the minute we left everything was amazing. Everyone on staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nice and comfortable with well-appointed amenities. The room we stayed in had a smaller bathroom with little space for toiletries but that is the only negative thing I can say about this. The bar and restaurant were great. Food was among the best we had while on our trip. They have a great patio to enjoy coffee or cocktails. We felt important while we were there and appreciate all the staff did to make it a wonderful stay!

Very comfortable extremely nice, clean hotel. Excellent staff. Breakfast was very good. Both continental and cooked. We were welcomed warmly by staff on arrival and in the morning treated very well as we left on our walk. We enjoyed seeing North Berwick and if we return would certainly stay here if possible.
