Holiday Inn Express & Suites North Conway

The AC/Heat was confusing to operate, but once I figured it out it was no longer an issue. The door to the bathroom also did not lock. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying. Everything else about the hotel was great.

Room need some upgrade usb port for cell phone is missing no safe in the room,otherwise everything was perfect

The hotel staff were great, the room was clean, the room temperature controls were terrible, when I arrived the room was 80 degrees and with the AC running full 24 hours/day the lowest it would go was 69 degrees, not very comfortable. Other than that the stay was good. It would be nice if breakfast was served at 6:00 AM as many of us had to be at an event by 6:30 AM and could not get breakfast at the hotel.

Was way better than expected based on previous reviews. The staff were awesome, the room was clean and comfortable. On the downside (which I’m assuming is room specific) was that when taking a shower, the faucet wasn’t working properly as it was always in the shower position so it’s not possible to take a bath in that room and there were rust coloured stains on the bathtub floor.

We have stayed at many IHG hotels and this one in North Conway was horrible! It’s under construction and our room was right by the elevator and the plastic hanging to block off the area that is under construction! The rooms are in need of up dating because they are dark, dingy and not pleasant at all! Our hair dryer didn’t work do we had to call to get o e. The breakfast on our first morning was awful! The people that were there gorged themselves leaving Nothing for anyone because their kids and themselves ate it all. No one was monitoring the food and we had to ask them to refill everything at 9 am when breakfast was till 930! The poor staff member trying to keep up with it all finally closed the door at 925 because he had nothing left! Then we were told our room would get cleaned because we were staying 3 days and it was not. We had to ask for towels because we had no clean ones. When we spoke to the staff in charge they replied “we are sorry!” That’s not what we wanted to hear! We believe we should have gotten a night free or some other kind of credit! Needless to say if we come back to North Conway we will not be staying at the IHG!

Staff was taking personal calls instead of waiting on customers. Blow dryers and phones in rooms didn’t work. Children were allowed to run up and down hallways constantly in the evening. It’s one thing if they are inside their rooms raising hell but in the hallways they should not be allowed to run wild.

Fair price for a decent stay and good pool area .
