Very comfortable and ideally located.

This Hotel was beyond awful. We checked in and the building was dilapidated not like the photos. The room was dirty the windows covered in grime. The reception was in a burrito take away next door. I immediately said we would not stay and asked for as refund. They pushed me back to ******* whom I did the booking with. Since then they have not answered emails or phone calls and ignored *******, result no refund for a room not fit for purpose that I did not use. PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS

Absolutely disgusting. Dirty. Unkept. Doeant look like its ever had a clean. Curtains don't fit. Miss match furniture that's very very worn. Looks like a storage room. Would not recommend at all. Not fit for purpose. Health and safety would have a field day here

Paid £93 for double room breakfast included. Satnav takes you straight to it. Easy parking VERY unusual check in. You have to go to the restaurant on high street. We thought it was called bella vita 🤔 but it's actually a taco restaurant. You go in there, then have no idea where to go as no signs inside the shop? It was only as another couple were stood there looking very confused too, a lady working behind the food counter came over and took us all behind some weird saloon doors into the back room! ...it felt like you were in some sort of escape room as boxes etc everywhere? She asked me to pay which I then replied I have already...months ago. She said oh yeah...it just made me think I wonder how many people have paid again by accident. I had to ask her about breakfast to which she replied. There won't be any as we are so booked up 🤔 so I said well we were expecting it as when I paid it was included in the cost. She told me to text her my bank details and they will refund me some money for the 2 breakfasts... 5 days later still nothing. Room basic but clean, smell from drain in toilet. VERY dated but we expected that by the other photos people have uploaded online WOULD REALLY LIKE THE REFUND FOR BREAKFAST?!

Lovely hotel in the centre of Hitchin. Could not fault it. Nowhere nicer to stay on a wet weekend in Hitchin with a four poster bed and 80 channels on the tv. Tea making facilities and a kebab shop downstairs so no excuse for going hungry. Had a lovely breakfast despite not booking 1. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, nothing was to much. I even got a loan of an umbrella to go downtown. Would definitely recommend it and I will be back.

Super comfy bed, right in the city center. Nice breakfast. Relaxing bath. Good service. I quite like the decor, which has some character to it. Good place to go if you're a small group of friends. I will definitely come back!

I am a Hitchin man and was staying for a night to visit relatives. It all looks good from the street. So why not!!!. Major regrets. The room we were thrown in had curtains hanging off and missing, no kettle etc. Aircon not working. Cobwebs everywhere. Complained!!! Got a (free upgrade). Cobwebs akimbo and in communal areas more so. Fire extinguishers propping doors open and not hung on wall. Out of date labels on them. One had no pin or plastic tag on so I pulled trigger...... no workey. This place is a fire hazard waiting to happen. As a Hitchin man, this place is an embarrassment. Please come to Hitchin, this place must be avoided at all costs.... Premier Inn Clean, helpful staff, the best beds. Book early. This hotel and frozen food restaurant is the worst place I have ever I have had the misfortune to have to stay.

When I booked this hotel I rang to confirm that we could have the jacuzzi bath delux bedroom. A very nice lady on the phone confirmed that we could. When we arrived it felt it a strange to have to phone a number to be let in, but thought no more of it as it was also a restaurant. We settled into the room and after a while my wife needed to have the bath to relax. After getting tried to start the jacuzzi and nothing happened. Tried several times without luck, so went down to the area we were booked in at. The young lady asked if we had tried a things and answered we had. As she didnt know whet else to do we went to find the owner. When she asked about the jacuzzi he immediat response was "no it doesnt work". My answer was we had booked this room because of the jacuzzi bath. His response was unbelievable " you have the jacuzzi bath, but we dont allow the jacuzzi to work because it disturbs the other customers". After I again pointed out this was why we booked the room, the next answer was even better, "well you can have your money back and go somewhere else if you want" Although it was getting late we did manage to find a far better hotel 17 miles away, which actually treated us as they were pleased to see us. This is the first time I have ever moved out of a hotel after checking in and the first time I have ever given a bad review.

Staff were uninviting, room smelt musty, threadbare carpets in room, very old unmatching furniture. Paper stuck to the windows to obscure vision. Curtains were falling down from the rail. Towels had not been changed from the previous occupants of the room. Waste bin had not been emptied from the previous occupants of the room. Not sure if anything had been cleaned from the previous occupants. All in all a very upsetting and stressful stay which cost over £132.00.
