The location of the hotel was a bit far from everything. Without a car or scooter it is impossible to reach tourist places, restaurants, supermarkets.
The cottage needed to be renovated because several wooden slats were broken (floor, wall). The room was dark.
The staff did everything possible to ensure that I had a good stay.

The location is good, no aircon but it quite chilly at night and must bring the mosquito repellent. The wood dust keeps dropping to the bed, i wish there’s hair-dryer as the basic amenities.

Jolis bungalow, au calme, bien entretenus, propres et non collés les uns aux autres. Confort remarquable par rapport aux autres hôtels que nous avons pu faire.. Restaurant et petit déjeuner pratiques à l’hôtel, bien organisés. Grand choix de boissons alcoolisées ou non. Personnel serviable et attentionné. Je recommande.

Just loves staying at Highland Resort! Very nice and spacious bungalows in beautiful surroundings. Charlie and staff are extremely nice and helpful and all in all Highland Resort is an ideal base for exploring Minahasa area. Highly recommended!!

At first this seems like a nice park, but……. The house was very dirty, old, very dark, broken lights (we will fix that tomorrow), broken TV, broken sheets, bad bed, outside door could not be locked, it did not smell fresh, when you took a shower the entire “bathroom” was soaking wet. etc. etc. Various pieces of furniture were visible, the sawdust was still on the floor, eaten by termites. We had the strong impression that we were the first guests in this house after a long vacancy. The park is completely out of date, we found it charming at first, but that feeling soon disappeared. The only thing that worked without problems was the wifi. The plan was to stay here for several nights, but we changed hotels after one night. Also because there is no kitchen on the park itself, the evening meal is brought by a (mediocre) caterer, so it is not warm either.

Pretty and very quiet resort, and we got a free room upgrade as our door lock didn't work. Staff were very helpful, and told us about a walk to a waterfall we could do ourselves straight from the resort. Rooms were large and had water, tea and coffee provided, and were good value for money. We booked a volcano tour with sunrise hike, which was expensive but a very good day out and our guide was good - helpful but not overbearing. Thought breakfast was included in the room price but it wasn't. Good for a one night stay in Tomohon to cover the sites of interest in this area.

We stayed there for a couple of days to explore the area around Tomohon. The rooms look nice and you really want to snuggle into the bed. You can enjoy your breakfast on the terrasse of your bungalow. For dinner you can order from different restaurants. The staff is great, always helpful and will help you anytime with hints where to go or organize anything you need.
