The rooms are looking a little "tired" and could do with a sruce up, but there were no issues with the staff, location or onsite facilities

Heard chef bosting he was so hungover. Ordered anyway. Big mistake. Cheese congealed and stone cold. In the bin. Too late to order anything else. £12 wasted

Excellent hotel overall. Very clean, lovely staff, food very good. Convenient location. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and they went over and above to do all they could to make sure our stay was perfect. Able to take food from the restaurant to the room which was more convenient for us. Carried luggage up stairs for us. They really could not have done anymore for us. Thank you.

We chose this Premier Inn because of its price and its proximity to both Alnwick Castle and Beamish. The family room we booked was as expected - ie very little storage space and too hot, very typical of most Premier Inns. We had noted comments about poor WIFI - these were not exaggerated, there is basically NO WIFI unless you were prepared to pay extra. Unfortunately what wasn’t noted is that there is hardly any mobile phone coverage either. Would not recommend this particular Premier Inn unless you are happy to pay for improved WIFI and you don’t need to make phone calls

We entered the front of house to a warm welcome. We arrived early and was given 5 star service being let into the room early. The room was very clean and tidy. Toilet roll doves and fluffed up pillows and then some. Would highly recommend this premier inn.

Excellent service as soon as we walked through the door! After a long day of travel, this was very much welcomed. We were able to check in early, with no issues, to a clean and tidy room. No noise from outside either. Just what we need! Highly recommend!
