Sehr gutes und charmantes Hotel mit ausgesprochen freundlichem Personal. Sehr gutes Essen auch mit einem guten Angebot für Vegetarier und eine kostenlose Garage steht zur Verfügung. Außerdem ist das Hotel sehr zentral gelegen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Hotel Schere is the best place to stay in Northeim. Unless you are willing to travel to Gottingen, this is the best option. Rooms are generally comfy and for European standards larger. Showers can be a bit tight but htats to be expected.

Schere is a very old brand, good quality adequate BFand good cooking in the restaurant. We had a room with balkony overlooking red roof tops, we were smack in the middle of the city in the pedestrian precinct. To be recommended.
