Room great, clean, comfy, really lovely. Breakfast poor, no buffet as advertised, no pastries, no yoghurt, not worth the money. We were there at 9am on a monday, so not towards the end of breakfast. We went to go for a drink the evening before and there was no one there to serve us, all closed up.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and been happy each time, but this time less so. I know the hotel is due to be refurbished and we chose a Premier plus room which was good and very clean but the free WiFi was out of range to use. We had breakfast which was good. Unfortunately there was a noise from what I think must have been the heating which kept us awake for the second night of a 2 night stay. The first night was OK. The strangest thing was that when we went for pre dinner drinks on the second night, all drinks were being served in pint plastic glasses. I asked why and was told that it was because of a football match which had finished a couple of hours previously, but there were no football fans in sight. If on match days they can't serve in glass then why not get decent plastic glasses. This hotel is generally good and the staff are friendly, so look out for Norwich City home game bookings. I would visit again but I was unhappy about the WiFi and the noise from the heating. I would have liked to mention this to them directly, but there was no-one on the desk at check out

Good location for town, comfortably bed, house keeping not up to speed room a little dusty, and found someone's vibrater behind chair. Restaurant very poor, half the items not available and service not good enough. We saw guest having food delivered from outside, now we know why.

From the moment we walked into reception, we received the warmest of welcomes. Sarah, who checked us in was just incredible. We just kind of hit it off and we had a good laugh. She was mind and caring and made us smile - and she said that a day without smiles is a wasted day - and I truly believe that. When we came back ij the evenijg, she very kindly came up tonus alwith a bag that had bottles of water and crisps in it to take back to our room room. I will remember our stay here mainly because of Satah and her delightful ways The room was comfortable, warm, quiet and just what we needed for the one night stay. I had my guide dog, Spencer with me also and he was treated as wonderfully as we were Thank you Sarah You made our day Terry, Dean and Spencer

The check in was friendly and efficient, and I was pleased that my phone request for a high floor river view was granted. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge ( unnecessarily so, as most of the space was wasted). However, we quickly found that the heating was totally inadequate. The aircon/ heating unit was barely working, and I made a visit to reception to let them know. The very helpful receptionist immediately brought a heater to the room and the temperature quickly improved. I got the impression that this is a common problem in this PI, so I recommend getting supplementary heating as soon as you can, if required. It would have been nice to have had an easy chair, as there was plenty of room for one. We requested room cleaning as we were there for three days. For some reason this was overlooked on the first day, but was done to a good standard after that. The adjacent Table Table was disappointing at breakfast time, with several items missing on all three mornings, with the last morning being the worst. The staff were lovely however so it’s a shame that they are let down by supply problems. All in all, this Premier Inn is in a great location and the staff are very nice and helpful. Hopefully the main disadvantages will be rectified at some point in the near future.

For the first time in my life, I honestly have to say, I was disappointed. The hotel is centrally located and has parking facilities. Staff are professional and helpful. This is where the list of positives ends. The room was in darkness when we arrived, and, without knowing where the light switch was took a minute or so to find. It was also cold. OK, we turned on both the light and the heating but, come on, Premier Inn, you can do better than this! Breakfast was perhaps the worst to date at a Premier Inn. If it is advertised as served from 7am until 11am, then the same menu items should still be available, whichever time a guest arrives for breakfast. Sadly, they weren't. Having arrived via the stairs, only to find the door to the restaurant locked (apparently someone had forgotten to open it), I had to go back up to a floor, catch the lift down and enter the other way. It soon became apparent that the kitchen staff had no intention of replenishing any items. No croissants, no juice and no mushrooms. When I enquired, the girl told me that the chef had run out. Premier Inn customers are traditionally greedy at a breakfast buffet, but there is no excuse to ever run out of food. It is simply unacceptable and bad management. I may still complain to head office.

Fantastic welcome by James after a long journey. His customer service is second to none! Comfy room (love the beds) and the meal deal was excellent as I was able to choose from the festive menu. All the staff at this premier inn are super friendly and provide excellent customer service. I will be back.
