The hotel is in a good location and very safe, only a 6-minute walk from Norwich train station.
The owner and staff are very kind, friendly and helpful.
Although the hotel facilities are simple, hot water boilers and coffee are provided. If you need a hair dryer, you can ask the front desk attendant for one. There are ample charging plugs in the room, including USB sockets and TYPE C sockets, with advanced facilities. Bring your own toothbrush and slippers.
Everything in the hotel is very clean. The shower faucet in the bathroom is very powerful and the hot water is very comfortable, which made me relax during these few days of travel.
Thank you for making a good choice. This hotel is very good overall. I will definitely come back next time ๐

Stayed here to go on steam train trip .sundown festival on so hotel full and unable to offer upgrade.still got a pitch side room platinumihg membercharming helpful staff unable to give 5 stars as did not have any meals.also when we last stayed here 15 years ago I noted a design fault in the bathroom the soap and shampoo dispensers are very high on the wall for the shower and people using bath cannot reach them without standing and have no separate soap.this increases risk of slipping however this is still a nice hotel with easy access to the railway station.I think this is now the nicest of Kew greens holiday inns in Norwich

Noise from street outside window until 3.30am, shortly followed by traffic noise, so we got very little sleep! Our 'Heritage' room had neither beams nor a fireplace (as described on website) and was small and awkwardly shaped, with much of the room being taken up by a freestanding bathtub so that the wardrobe was crammed against a wall on the opposite side. The room was unwelcoming to say the least. When we mentioned the street noise on checking out, we were told to ask for a quiet room next time.....there will not be a next time. We booked directly with the hotel and were not told anything about street noise. A fridge with a loud hum was placed on top of a small table next to the wardrobe. Breakfast was adequate but poached eggs were hard. Not a wonderful experience.

Requested a room on the side of the hotel as quieter. It meant that I could do my business admin, plus have a good night's sleep. Staff at Reception and in the restaurant friendly, welcoming and helpful, even offering me a jug of fresh milk to take to my room, for the cup of tea. Bed linen, towels etc all of a good standard. We were delighted with this hotel. Parking with my blue badge was easy and close to reception. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were pleased with the layout and spaciousness of our room.Decor is good, and we had very pleasant meals in the conservatory. We are light eaters and found what we wanted by using the illustrated tablets provided by the staff. We did have a problem, though. As I was pleased with the service for the evening meals I left a tip each time and it was only after I checked the bill at home that I found gratuities had been added. We were not advised of this and saw no advice of it on the tablet menus. A shame - until then we were very happy. It doesn't stop us going again but we shall leave no tips!

When we arrived we were greeted By Sue who was a lovely lady she got us booked in and told where to go to get to our room, it was only one flight up but as Me and my partner couldn't climb the stairs we went up by lift, there was only a couple of steps to get up to our room, it was basic but it was lovely, we tried to shut the window but it was stuck but apart from that is was a lovely room, we went to our friends wedding reception which was lovely the room was massive and the table were laid out really well, we had some of the evening buffet which was really lovely too ::) we got up for breakfast again lovely but I think they need to replace their toasters as they didn't cook very well and my partner's first lot of toast got stuck and burned but all in all we loved the stay :)

The villas were clean with everything you needed. The location was great on top of a cliff with a walk down into Cromer. Not great with mobility issues but our 8 year old managed it with no problems. We tried the restaurant once and the food was good.
We tried the children's entertainment one night and he was great. Our daughter really enjoyed that and swimming in the pool every morning. Overall a great location to visit a beautiful part of our country.

ๅญๅญIt is very close to the down town, a 15-minute walk to the shopping center, and also to the famous Norwich Market and Norwich Castle. The hotel room is not big, but clean and tidy, it is recommended.
Where do we start , got married here in august and to say how well it was organised is an understatement, From start to finish the whole day was incredible, food, room, how it was decorated was amazing , would highly recommend if you are thinking of getting married, big shout out to Josephine for organising the day and to Steve the toastmaster for sorting out the day as we went on , thanks sgain
GGuest UserReally enjoyed our relaxing spa break break. Spa was available from 6am till 10pm with no pre booking which was superb. Building was clean, the young receptionist was ever so smiley and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the lounge bar was great. Garden area were beautiful, golf course was nice. Highly to
GGuest UserAs soon as we walked in it was brilliant, all the staff were lovely, particularly the young girl on the reception and the restaurant manager. The room was lovely and clean, with great air conditioning. We had a dinner, bed and breakfast package, they have a QR code ordering system which means you order, pay and food or drinks come to the table. Seems a great idea at this time with all the staff shortages. It was funny as I, by accident ordered 2 bottles of wine, but the staff were lovely and helped me out. They even gave us a side order instead of a starter which they didnโt have to. The food was good and very hot. My friend used the pool which she said was very good but there were no towels there at 07.00 hours. Breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from and the hot buffet was actually very hot. We would definitely recommend this place
There is a sign up outside Number 82 which says โA devilishly good night's sleepโ, however nothing could be further from the truth. The Pear Tree pub across the road and their clientele provide a very noisy interference which lasts until 2am (due to their late licence). The road outside the hotel contains a manhole cover that makes a noise for each vehicle that drives over it. The pedestrian crossing lights flash all night and the curtains fail to keep the flashing out of the room. The hotel consisting of apartment rooms is somehow managed remotely, therefore keys are obtained via a code from a key safe, and any questions are only dealt with by phone. Our first issue concerned a broken window mechanism, preventing it from closing and after reporting this someone rang back to allow us to check in to a different room. Unfortunately the second room had a broken toilet. Once the chain was pulled for the first time, (it had an overhead cistern), the water did not stop running but couldn't be flushed again. This was reported at 6pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm, with no response other than โyour problem has been logged on the system and I am waiting for feedbackโ. No amount of โcan I speak to your supervisor/bossโ or suggestions about getting an emergency plumber out, or changing the room bore any result. After the 4th attempt, I remembered that the person providing the second room earlier had rung back from a different number, and once reached, this person did indeed provide us the facility for changing rooms for a second time. There were other issues concerning cleanliness and the heating not working in the second room, all in all a most unpleasant stay that I do not intend to repeat
GGuest UserVery friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. The lift was out of order but help with our luggage was offered immediately. Room was immaculate and well equipped, with air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The only inconvenience was no socket for the hairdryer near a mirror. Breakfast was well presented with a good choice of hot and cold items, but more seating would be useful. Staff were clearing tables as quickly as possible, but as it was a warm and sunny morning we ate outside. Would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserClean, comfortable and compact accommodation with all the basics. Very convenient if you want to visit the university, a little less so if you want to visit the city centre, although there are regular bus services. Supermarket and coffee shop close by, pleasant surroundings. Have stayed a few times and would do so again.
GGuest UserI stayed here when I was on a business trip in Norwich. The environment is great. It's just a manor hotel. The facilities are too old. The floor is creaky. The facilities in the room are very old. The third and fourth tier hotels in China are better than this. If you are a pretentious person, forget it. The environment is still very good. The air is very fresh. The breakfast is also OK. Anyway, it's just an ordinary British meal.
HHighfieldLooks a little run down outside and quite dated inside.
We spent one night in a twin room which was reasonably clean however i would suggest they upgrade the mattress protectors. Nice little complementary tray with water, tea coffee sugar and biscuits.
Staff on reception were very friendly.
We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment.
Overall stay was good.
I have to confess that I am a member of this establishment so have a vested interest in its success, but having just come off the golf course in need of a beer and some food, I was greeted enthusiastically by the bar staff despite the fact that the bar area was crowded with golf society folk who had obviously had a few bevvies, a private party and a full restaurant. The staff were literally running to make sure food was getting to where it was needed. There was a delay on food and we were advised in advance. Despite this our food was well cooked and very tasty. Special thanks to Maddy and Adam who always go the extra mile. Just be aware guys that you are appreciated by us members who see your hard work and dedication. PS this is a golf club so if you want a cheap pint get the number 29 bus to Norwich and get off at Hellesdon.
