From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the highest level of warmth and hospitality. Every team member we encountered was a genuine gift of their own. Owner & visionaries Steve Jacobus & wife Ericka are hands on at every turn and have created something one of a kind extraordinary. Sweeping views of ocean and jungle, finest furnishings, open air lanai settings, innovative food & drinks, gorgeous yoga shala, and terrific massage practitioners. 60th birthday celerbstion This place is incredible. It went well beyond our expectations. The service is expectable, food creative and delicious, view and property top notch. The staff were extremely attentive offering super service, organizing tours and helpful to every need. Yoga with Ana in the Shala every morning was a great way to start our day. Sun beds and pool inviting. Highly recommend for couples, single or friend getaways. Laundry is included and delicious top rated breakfast too. We will definitely come back.

We stumbled onto this hotel after a bad experience elsewhere in town. What an incredible place to arrive to! We booked our room and showed up 20 minutes later onsite, and Roy and the team acted nothing of it. We were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality, the room was exceptional, and all the details and touches were in place despite the quick turn (personalized note in the room, welcome drinks/snacks, etc). This level of service continued throughout the stay and is really what made Tierra Magnifica stand out to me. Great conversations about life in CR with Cesar at breakfast and dinners, Chrissy greeting us warmly in the mornings, Daniela sharing her passion for wine at the tasting menu dinner, Caroline (sous chef) presenting each dish with a story of it's origins, importance, and relevant to Costa Rica, Roy sending us off at checkout with a printed map to ensure we had the right route. Ever person we interacted with was genuine, warm, engaged, greeted us both by name, etc. making this stay feel more like staying in a friends home than a hotel. All the right touches are in place as well: great bedding, great AC, wonderful food, good drinks, equipment to bring to the beach, UNREAL view, etc. Love this place and hope to return!

Extremely peaceful, beautiful place. Amazing & very personable service. Resort amenities but at a boutique, small hotel. Easy enough to get down to Nosara for the beach & restaurants, but was also nice to come back to the views & quiet of TM up on top of the hill. Restaurant is amazing as well. Definitely a highlight of our stay in Costa Rica.
