We were surprised to discover that the hotel did not offer parking as the listing did say free parking available. The paid underground parking is about a 3 minute walk away and we were lucky to be able to pull up and drop the luggage across the road so I could take it in while the car got parked. The room we had booked was lovely. Spacious and light with a super comfy bed. The only thing lacking was some there to hang clothes or drawers to put away smaller items. Luckily we just used the spare 2 beds and laid our clothes out across both beds. 2 hangars were provided for a room sleeping 4 people and not a chest of drawers in either bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with many cups, plates etc. With breakfast provided we did not use the kitchen except for a cup of tea - we are English… All the staff were polite and helpful and could not fault the breakfast provided.

Space was unique and very clean. Excellent breakfast included in the morning.
Peacock calls on the balcony woke us up early but was beautiful to observe. Some street noise but mostly quieted down by 10pm. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We choose this small charming place for a one-night stop over visiting Caldas de las Rainha for Pinheiro art. The Hotel is also full of contemporary creative art and the attached restaurant is nice for petiscos. Breakfast was rather reduced, but we did not miss anything. Only the screaming peacocks in the backyard (from the neighbouring park) robbed us of our sleep.

A charming room and property - we highly recommend - just be sure you ask for an interior/courtyard room since the rooms on the street side are noisy all night long with car traffic,etc.

Lovely boutique hotel. Enjoyed our breakfast, and the complimentary port wine that was provided in our room. Paid parking is available in a city garage a few blocks away.

Good location hotel in center of nice city that was wonderful illuminated for Christmas. Friendly staff, nice room and good breakfast.
However, we experienced some noise from the rooms above us (not spund proof), and the finishing in the bathroom has some flaws (e.g. kit, painting of tiles in shower)
