Communication was very poor leading up to our visit and whilst we were there (even when the cellphone towers were back working) There was no electricity which is no fault of the owners we understand but no extra effort made to accommodate this like a bucket of hot water to wash etc. They knew about the lack of electricity from the day before we arrived and didn’t inform us so we could have planned a bit better we left a day early and again heard nothing from the owner after watsapping them The feeling was one of we were an irritation and they’re actually over the service industry We felt it was expensive for what you got and there are many other places on the midlands more value for money.

We traveled as a family and my only mistake was to book one room, we should have requested two. The WiFi is not great, so make sure you have data.
The staff went above and beyond and even prepared a special dinner for my boys which was amazing. We enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at Loxley 8cer the weekend was delightful. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Rita, which set the tone for the rest of the weekend. Our room was spacious with all the comforts necessary for the chilly mornings and evenings. I especially enjoyed sitting in the bay window with the dun streaming in. The staff at Loxley are so hel, they made our stay comfortable and pleasant. From the reservation, to the check in, all through the stay and the checkout, I say a heartfelt thank you.

There is no private space and we had a spa treatment booked for 16h00 which they changed to 16h30 and never happened. At 17h15 it was reported that the staff never arrived. We left the property at 18h15.

This gem in Notties was a 10/10. Spotless and I'm fussy. Nothing was too much for the owner. Food was delicious. An absolute must. Linen was beautiful and clean. The owner did everything to make our stay memorable. We will be back. Massages fabulous
