Bar très sympa bonne musique Reggae très bonne ambiance, personnel accueillant. Nourriture très bonne. Super vue une ambiance relaxante MAIS les massages sont très spéciaux. Nous avions choisis un massage de pieds(finalement mollets cuisses et pieds) pour 15 dollars les 30 min. Bilan: moment extrêmement douloureux au vu de la forte intensité de la masseuse- brûlures- échauffement de la peau - craquement des os en supplément pour finir le tout. Malgré avoir demandé d’aller doucement à plusieurs reprises- elle ne s’arrêtait pas. Bilan: nous ne pouvons plus bouger à la fin du massage et des douleurs dans la soirée. Je ne recommande absolument pas cette expérience traumatisante et j’aurai aimé lire un avis comme celui là avant d’y aller.

Tolle kleines Gästehaus mit Bar und ausgezeichnetem Flair für eher jüngere Leute. Gute Musik 🎵 in toller Atmosphäre mit aufmerksamen sehr netten Personal sowie sehr leckerem Essen! Tägliche Reinigung der Räume, ab und zu Stromausfall was aber vom Personal bestmöglich behoben wird. Wie gesagt für eher jüngere, flexible und Weltoffene Menschen die mit weniger Luxus dafür chillig drauf sind☺️🤪. Kommen gerne wieder! Beste Grüsse an das great Team🇨🇭🇹🇿🔝

I made a big mistake booking my hotel here. Knew it was a mistake the minute I checked in. I am an older (dare I say elderly?) woman traveling along, so maybe I shouldn't have booked at a "bar", but it sounded fun online, nope. Room was nasty smelling and didn't feel secure, wifi in "common areas" means at the bar on chairs in the dirt and the dark. Spent the night, felt unsafe and uncomfortable, discussed in the morning and said I wasn't comfortable and was there any problem cancelling rest of my stay. Guy behind bar says no problem, helps me get a ride to another hotel. And then it gets truly messed up ... refuse to refund me remaining nights. Ignoring texts, emails, etc. When I finally get through they say they can't refund because it's up to *******. ******* says the hotel refused multiple times to refund. Just save yourselves the headache, there are many nice places to stay in Nungwi - just not this one.

Basic means basic, but provides everything you need in a room. Always had hot water, and the bed was comfortable. Provided mosquito netting. Nice view of the ocean. Everything was clean upon arrival and the owner took care of my needs. He is very friendly and easy to have a beer and a good discussion with. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and helpful. The food is very good, and others in the area come here just to eat.

Great burgers at the beach in a lovely garden. First you think it doesn’t look that interesting, but the food is great. Even a simple pasta with tomato sauce is very good. It is right on a beautiful quiet stretch of beach. The music makes it even more attractive!

Very rude and agressive owner. They smoke something suspicious and listen loud music because of that we could not sleep. Rooms are not clean and all equipment is not well functioning. Breakfast is small and basic. After dinner we got food poisoning and had to go to the hospital. So we decided to leave that place asap.

Great vibes, great staff (especially Tony!), amazing music, best seafood and fruit I've ever eaten (and so cheap: you can have lunch with 10 Euros), good prices. Great rooms, peaceful. Beach and sea... simply Zanzibar!

The Kajibange was just what I needed. You have your basic amenities in the room - toilet, shower, AC, fridge , fan and a bed so huge, it could easily sleep 5. The setting is the best, right on the beach but hidden amongst coconut trees and greenery. There is still some building required with some of the rooms, this did not bother me at all, but some people might find this "untidy". There was no noise with this, just some areas were untidy with building materials about. The owner and staff where superb and very chilled with no request being a problem. If you want chilled, relaxed and very eco, this is your place. If you want 5* luxury, then maybe look elsewhere. One thing to add is that as a Muslim country, there are "Prayers" at 04:00 and the mosque is very close. The call to prayer only last 5 mins or so, but can be annoying if you are a light sleeper.
